103 escape rooms
I’ve played 100+ escape rooms and this was a really memorable one. Horror rooms usually aren’t my favorite, but this experience struck a great balance between genuinely creepy and still fun to play. The immersion is excellent, and the live actor element adds a lot to the tension in a way that feels thoughtful rather than overwhelming. Huge shoutout to our GM Sabina, who fully committed to the role and really helped bring the experience to life.
Gameplay
The puzzles themselves are fairly straightforward, but the atmosphere definitely adds a layer of challenge. It’s very dimly lit (intentionally so), which helps create the tension but can slow you down a bit if you’re not used to working in that environment or don't have braver teammates to help drive things forward. The live actor interactions are a big part of the experience and add some really memorable moments without getting in the way of the gameplay. Expect some crawling, and there’s a brief climbing section as well.
Atmosphere
The lighting, sound design, and set pieces all work together to create a constant feeling of unease. It’s the kind of room where the tension builds naturally and you’re always a little unsure what might happen next. The actor interactions really elevate the experience and make the space feel alive.
Customer service
Sabina was a fantastic GM. She stayed fully in character the entire time and did a great job balancing the scare factor so it stayed fun rather than overwhelming. The commitment really adds to the immersion.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
You'll love the story elements!
Story
The story was interesting and the puzzles were definitely though-out and integrated in the gameplay, which helps you get into the mindset of wanting to solve the room. Added to the immersion and perfectly sets up the next stages of the story!
Difficulty
Hard
The spooky/scary factor along with the intentionally dim lighting is definitely going to be the main factor here! You never know who or what might be around the corner which will be a blocker.

Ideal number of players
5
I think you can get away with 4 if you are an experienced group and have people that aren't scaredy-cats. I honestly did not contribute as much as I normally could've since I'm not great with horror. Safety in numbers will help you progress and give you another brain to help solve things!
Scary
Scary
Honestly, not as horribly terrifying as I thought although that could've been a conscious choice by our GM, knowing that I was very hesitant about playing to begin with (as a scaredy-cat) 😅. But still, definitely not for the faint of heart and I recommend larger groups! It's dark and the live actor will be able to play off of your group dynamics in a great way.

Just remember they have two locations in the plaza, so you'll want to go to the correct building. Very easy to find though.
