This room was fun, theme was well done, puzzles were not too easy, not too hard, just right, and there was a good amount of them. GM was fantastic, friendly and entertaining :)

A fun room with an amazing plethora of numerous diverse and challenging puzzles. We found a few puzzles quite tricky, but ultimately beat it in 30 mins. 😀

Cool bunker room that starts off as linear before transforming into a multilinear game! As Niagara Escapement’s hardest room, the puzzles were tougher but not unreasonably so, and it’s more about overcoming the initial sensory overload and not getting overwhelmed when presented with a whole bunch of puzzles all at once. We finished in around 30 minutes but still felt thoroughly challenged and satisfied!

I had a lot of fun in this game. The puzzles were certainly at the forefront of the design for the and are so fun and varied. For me the immersion and set design is a big part of what I love about games, the set has seen better days and could do with a bit of a spruce up. Overall it was such a fun game and would definitely play here again.

Gameplay

We had a slower start but it ramped up the more the game progressed. Loved the progression lights on the wall.

Atmosphere

The rooms were appropriately dressed and themed. I would have loved the set to be slightly more elaborate in room one and two.

Customer service

Really really nice guy, talked us through the game and the designs!

Gameplay

To be honest? AMAZING!!! I love how there was always something to do. Nothing too hard, very straightforward and a BUNCH of puzzle. If you like rooms with many puzzle and that makes sense you’ll love this!

Atmosphere

The set was what you’d expect of this escape room! Don’t expect one of those 100k budget escape rooms but you won’t be disappointed!

Customer service

The two owners were there and received us wonderfully! I gotta say through all the different locations and escape room I’ve done, they were definitely the best game master and human being we’ve encountered. Love them!

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

It’s definitely refreshing to see so many puzzle and different one!

Story

I mean you don’t really play this game for the story. Pretty short and sweet but the end was pretty good and makes you laugh a little concluding it in a good way!

Difficulty

Medium

Well balanced not that hard for us but new-ish people may struggle. We ended up asking a single hint trough out the game and one past the 60 minute timer to make sure we wouldn’t take more time for the other group.

With the two of us we were just fine we took an extra 5 minutes to escape. I guess the sweet spot would be 3

I would say 14+ but anyone could do it. To be honest if your child isn’t really mature enough consider an other game if you guys wanna have fun since it considered hard.

Was anything broken?

No

We were made aware of some tv’s not working that were supposed to give you hint. We choose to still do the game and found an other way around it to receive hints. The game was still wonderful and did not impact on any way the puzzle. That’s why I say No to this question.

You need a little bit of dexterity at the very least and crouch to grab something. Otherwise would be wheelchair accessible plenty of space.

This room exemplifies “start with the theme first, and design puzzles out of what would naturally be in that type of space” which I always appreciate a location that has that philosophy. It keeps immersion up while still respecting you are in a puzzle room. Set was great and loved the non-linear aspects of it. Out of the 3 played today (coven, end of the world, Christmas) this was definitely the hardest, just out of sheer amount of puzzles. However everything was incredibly satisfying and felt rewarding as a solve as opposed to other “hard” rooms that feel like some puzzles are purposefully obtuse. Would recommend for a a group of 2-4 experienced players, but completely doable with 2.

This was a terrific game!! I reviewed Easy Bake Coven previously which I also really enjoyed however between the 2 I preferred this game as it is much more rich in puzzles and these game designers really do care about making good enigmas. The game has a great story and the build quality of the set is very good however I particular enjoy and recommend when a game designer sets out to balance good puzzles with a immersive experience so it is mostly and experience you move through or exclusively puzzle after puzzle. Well done !

Gameplay

Good game flow we were 2 players however there are parts that are less linear so can be enjoyed by more easily.

Not really a novel idea for an escape story but well integrated into the room design and the puzzles are perfectly appropriate. Literally built for the story
