The Virus

Permanently Closed - Humanity is on the brink of annihilation. A deadly virus spreads like wildfire, killing off entire towns in a span of days, and you're one a small group of scientists who can stop it. Escape-room company Get the F Out whisks you and your crew of 2–8 on a virtual reality journey to an underground bunker where you must create an antidote for the virus and save the world. You arrive at an elaborate military laboratory (designed by a Hollywood set builder and nuclear-submarine engineer, among others). As the clock ticks, you solve a series of technology-based puzzles to synthesize the antidote, careful not to make a mistake—one wrong move sets off a decontamination system that exterminates all sources of the virus, including you. The 60-minute experience is challenging but suitable for beginners; in fact, the gamemaster, acting as a lab assistant, is on hand to give hints.
