Providence District 1980. Probationary nun Irene Giggs is exiled from St. Paul's Convent under unclear circumstances. She returns to live with her family in the dilapidated attic they had as a home. A year later, in 1981, she finds herself imprisoned on serious charges of murdering all her family members. She claims that the Devil is the one who forced her to do it.
