The room was beautifully designed. We really liked that it didn't rely on traditional combination locks, but instead used technical and interactive puzzle mechanics. It made the experience feel much more modern and immersive. What we didn't like was the impersonal customer service. Instead of receiving a personal introduction, you're handed a tablet and asked to watch a video explaining the rules. Afterwards, a second staff member escorts you to the room, but they are not the Game Master. In fact, you never get to meet the Game Master at all. It also gives the impression that the Game Master is supervising several rooms at the same time. A major issue was that if you solved a puzzle correctly but the technology failed to register it, there was no indication that your solution was correct or that you should simply try again. This is a real flow killer and can be very frustrating during an escape room. Inside the room, there's a screen where you can request pre-written hints or press a "Call GM" button. Overall, it feels like the priority is to minimize staffing costs rather than provide the best possible experience for the players. It's a shame, because the room itself is good and fun. Unfortunately, the lackluster hosting and support meant that, despite the high-quality design, our overall memory of the experience was only average.

My first escape room. Wow, the attention to detail is amazing. It was great—visually and acoustically brilliant. It was fun, even though I didn't understand everything.
