The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

This was an outstanding room and one of the best we have done to date. The scenery was excellent and creative and supported the story. There were a few puzzles in the 2nd scene that were a bit tricky to see the connection and solve but most made sense. Hints might be needed to keep things moving.

The set design for this room was spectacular. We overthought several of the puzzles and there was a tedious puzzle that we had to check several times. Overall the set design made up for it.

Wowww!! We all felt like we were completely transported. It was great to take a break from the real world and feel like you are somewhere truly magical. Can’t wait to try more rooms here.

This room was seriously awesome

High quality game in terms of special effects and production value. Some of the puzzles were a bit unintuitive and certain scenes that should have been the high point of the story were not emphasized to the degree they could have been. That being said, amazing special effects and set design. Easily the best room in the region and a must do.

13th Hour has always been a spectacular company for both haunts and escape rooms, originally connecting every game through the cannibalistic Hayden family. With this game, they deviate from that world, creating a magical, non-horror experience that would be incredible for any age or experience level. I’ve played a wizard of oz game before, and while it was fun, it wasn’t cinematic in the way this game undeniably was. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz captures the mystical and beautiful world of Oz through props, sets, and some of the most spectacular effects I have ever seen. It’s worth a trek out to 13th hour, if not for their other incredible horror games, for this one of a kind experience.

“There’s no place like 🏡 13th Hour!” This is by far the coolest escape room experience that we have ever had. At this point we have done all of the 13th Hour rooms so we were so excited when they launched this room and boy we weren’t disappointed. This room is HUGE and the amount of love and thought they put into the design and mechanics of this project is simply unmatched and insane. From the moment you walk in, you’re fully immersed into the Wizard of Oz world - there are so many amazing props, audio clips, video clips, etc. I actually felt like we were in there for hours even though it was only about 45 min! We did this in a group of 3, and managed totally fine but honestly it would have been super fun in a big group too bc there was so much to see and do. My one complaint was that a couple of the props/puzzles needed to be fixed and updated, and because of that one puzzle kept having tech issues and there was no easy way for the gamemaster to let us bypass it due to the nature of that puzzle so all he could do is tell us we had it right but to keep trying lol. After a few minutes it finally worked but that was a little frustrating. The whole team there is so helpful and kind though!! All that being said, everyone needs to experience this room, it’s so worth the trip!!!!!

The game is so immersive and certain elements definitely took my by surprise. Will definitely return.

13th Hour escape rooms are truly unmatched. As many of the other reviews state this escape room is unlike any other room I have ever experienced. When you go to an escape room, you want it to be fully immersive, and this room absolutely delivers on that. For fans of the film, you'll feel just like Dorothy and Toto moving through this room. As a team of 2, this was challenging but not impossible by any means. I really enjoyed the puzzles and thought they were unique, engaging and well-developed. The layout is also a huge plus- which you don't realize when you enter. If you have a larger group, this is definitely a great room to go to.

The room was absolutely outstanding - one of the best executions of theme I've experienced. The only feedback I have is that some of the puzzles were a little unintuitive. Even after getting the solution, we were a little bit confused. It really didn't impact our enjoyment much, though. This is a must-do.
