Can you rally your team to help the timekeeper and escape it because you have taken a fabulous trip through time in the clock tower?

There's quite a bit of novelty in this room. Somethings handled a little strangely, but it was at least all themed correctly. For this room I would say 4-6 is a good number to run this room with enough for everyone to a little or try and keep track of everything. Would suggest you brush up on how to "keep track of time" specifically. Ending was a little underwhelming though. If anything wasn't supposed to behave the way it was supposed to, the GM (Nick) kept a close eye and informed us accordingly. Great and engaged GM!

Escape Room's The Clock Tower feels dated but has the best design in the location. The story premise is interesting - time travel - but there was a lot of incoherence. I did not understand why some of the puzzles worked. The last puzzle was also just such a pain and not too much fun. We had a group of 5 when we went but I think that this group had a lot of experience so we had an idea of when to move on and when to nudge the game master to check if we did a puzzle correctly.

We booked this as a private group of 5 with 4 beginners (and me, not the brightest squirrel in the tree) not realizing it was the hardest puzzle! Two of our group were kids, but they caught on fast and loved it by the end. I didn't love the flow of puzzles in the first part; the solutions felt a bit clunky and repetitive. My other moment of GAH was the mathing, which I'm not a big fan of in puzzles. But after that first room, we really dug solving the last two. If the puzzles in the first part were tweaked a little, this would get a big thumbs up from me. But all in all, we had a great time and the kids were already excited to do the next one, so that's a win for me!

Absolutely love it! Nick was so incredible as a GM in helping us have a fantastic time in the clock tower!

overall the concept was cool, lots of tech, but a few of the puzzles were very clunky and needed to be put the exactttt way for it to work. there was not a ton of puzzles that made sense (going from point a to b). they did say it was their hardest room, but i feel the puzzles didnβt lean themselves to the next puzzle well at all. iβd say 6/10 fer me

I really loved this room, there was so much to do! It is possible to overthink things. All of the places we got stuck were from overcomplicating simple puzzles. We turned simple arithmetic into calculus. All of the puzzles are very fun.

I will preface to say that my team started late for this room, so time was already working against us. However, even within those time constraints, I believe we could have had a smoother experience all throughout. While the space itself was huge and production value seemed high (enough), the puzzles were all over the place (figuratively and literally), and we found ourselves hitting a standstill very often. Weβre not a purist group who denies hints, so we did ask for hints and our GM was either unresponsive for extended periods of time or just overall not very helpful with their guidance. I think thatβs mostly what soured the experience overall. We had an unfortunate combination of a late start + room that didnβt quite make sense logically + a GM that was inattentive when we needed some clarity on certain puzzles. We found ourselves standing around for awhile, solving nothing, since we had run out of options on how to proceed next. While the external circumstances (such as timing and GM) were not ideal, I think that the room, independent of all that, was still lacking and could use a refresh in how things are pieced together.

So much potential in this room, but it was all wasted. A couple broken puzzles. One extremely confusing and nonsensical puzzle, and a mediocre Gm made this one our worst experiences.
