Chapter 1: Occam's Apartment

Genuinely the best escape room I’ve done thus far. The room really did look like an apartment. The hints were given so creatively, they had control of the so many different aspects of the room. The story was definitely interesting as well. I’m personally not someone who enjoys spooky things but I was willing to do the next 2 knowing it was scary because the room was just that good.

This was a fantastic escape room!! We have done a ton of escape rooms and this one flowed extremely well, had an interesting story, fantastic and unique puzzles, and a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend. We did it with a group of 3 experienced players and escaped in 60 minutes. The company gives you 105 minutes but charges by however long it takes you, so we got a discount for escaping sooner. I wouldn’t want to do this room with a giant group, so I would recommend keeping it at four people or fewer. One note, it is slightly scary and there is a moment with a live actor that freaked us out a bit (like, we screamed) but it wasn’t super scary the whole time and we are wimps-I just wouldn’t recommend for children. Also, there are mentions of murder and suicide. Shoutout to our game master, Alex, for being incredibly funny and welcoming.

One of the best rooms I’ve ever done. Tons of out of the box puzzles. Super immersive. Highly recommend.

I have to say that I was surprised to love this one less than others. The first half was fun, but personally I didn’t love the main mechanic of the second half—definitely novel but it was somewhat repetitive and confusing for our group. Staff were friendly and I think the idea of a sequential escape room series is cool.

My wife and I did this game today and had such a great time. We cant wait to do the other 2 chapters! We have done 15-20 games and this one was our favorite. It was made SO well, and was interactive in a different way than any game we’ve played so far.

WOW! This escape room was insane! This was the first one I’ve really done that wasn’t like all the others. It was very detail oriented and the story line made sense. I’m so ready to play the next chapters!

This room was great! We played as 2 people and took up the entire time with only 20 seconds left, haha. We actually played all 3 chapters this week and this was my favorite of the 3. One of the funner rooms I have experienced. Great storytelling, great puzzles, and fun surprises. I also thought that it was pretty novel how they save your decisions and progress and use those to influence the storytelling in the future chapters if you come back and play. It definitely makes me more interested in the story than I normally am in a room where you don’t really impact or influence it. I will definitely come back to continue the story and see how it all plays out!

Probably the most immersive, high tech escape room in the Bay Area! There were so many puzzles we haven't seen before, and the way each puzzle is integrated into the story (and the vibe of the room) is fantastic. We didn't escape in time (we had 1 puzzle left), but the unique thing is that they'll save your progress so you can pick up right where you left off! Massive props to the OTC team, the whole experience was worth the trip. We will definitely be back to finish this off!

Definitely has become one of my favorite rooms. Also really like the team behind this series!
