Chapter 2: Norcross Art Gallery

Super immersive room with great puzzles and great narrative.

This series is fantastic! This room has very creative puzzles, set design, and the game play is outstanding. I would highly recommend this series!!

We played all 3 chapters this week and this one was our least favorite of the 3. That being said, it was still a good room. It did a lot to continue the overall story, which was intriguing and interesting. We found one finnicky puzzle to be quite annoying. Even when we knew the solution, we had a really difficult time aligning different pieces in just the perfect way to complete it. It took way longer because of this to finish this puzzle and at some point we just got tired of it and wanted it to be over. This is clearly an issue for more than just our group, but they just live with it being that way, rather than finding a way to make this puzzle a better experience. So that was my main gripe. The art museum gallery is a really cool setting for an escape room. I wish it had been a little larger so it felt more like an actual museum, but you can still suspend disbelief. I’m still very curious where the story goes and am looking forward to seeing chapter 3!

Another amazing room. Puzzles were different than any other room. Loved the way they immerse you in the room. Loved the different way they give clues. Another favorite!

We did this one a week after the first room. It was phenomenal -- some of the most unique puzzles, storyline, details, and consistency I've ever seen. I feel a lot of threads have been opened now and I'm curious how the third room ties it together!

Man, my heart was RACING between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2! The puzzles in Chapter 2 were definitely creative, challenging, and memorable, but my boyfriend and I were able to get through this chapter faster than Chapter 1. I will say that Chapter 2 definitely ranges between spooky & scary. If you get scared easily like me, you can consider the experience slightly scary in a way, but it was more spooky if anything. Very high quality production, props, live actors, music, dialogue, and storyline! Highly recommend.

I rate this room a 4/5 (check out my bio for rating system). This is the 2nd of the 12-chapter series that is the plan for this business. It is probably better to do the chapters in order, if possible, but the business seems to cater the rooms to how you are experiencing them, whether you do them in or out of order. Additionally, it is unique in that you get credit towards other rooms for completing rooms earlier than the allotted times prompting you to come back for more! So smart! This particular chapter's set design was impressive! You truly felt like you were in an art gallery with lots of hidden surprises. I knocked a point off because a few of the puzzle set-ups were used again in solving clues and they weren't particularly novel for me. But I did feel immersed in the experience and a certain character from Chapter 1 re-appeared (friend or foe??) which I found fun! My slightly skittish partner, not so much. 🫣 I look forward to doing more escapes at this business as the chapters are revealed.

Well themed and high tech escape room. Of the 3 rooms currently at Off the Couch games, this is the most "typical" escape room.
