When you visit the Da Vinci Escape Room you will have 60 minutes to solve the mystery, find the key to the Holy Grail, and to find the exit-code for escaping the room. To achieve this, you must cooperate, coordinate and think out-of-the-box, for it is no ordinary challenge that you are facing! The Escape Room theme is designed with inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci and belongs to the legendary Da Vinci Order. The Escape Game itself is designed to entertain 3 – 6 persons in order to get the optimal experience. We have 3 completely identical rooms, so it’s possible for up to 18 people to play simultaneously – the perfect competition to find out who really has the sharpest minds! You are professors in art history and antiquities, and you have recieved a mysterious letter from an old professor in history called Johannes Klosterberg. The letter doesn’t say much, except that he is in great danger and that he needs your help. He wants to bring you information about the existence of the Holy Grail and the evil Brotherhood of the True Emperors who seek to find the Grail and use its powers for evil purposes. Therefore you have traveled to a secret location, belonging to the ancient Da Vinci Order, where professor Klosterberg will contact you with more information about your important mission.

It felt a bit like a generic escape room where there’s a theme in an intro video that you then quickly forget because it doesn’t really influence the puzzles and there’s not much of a story after that. It’s also a bit expensive for 2 people and likely not worth it given the experience.
The puzzles were disconnected and didn’t really relate to the theme
It felt like an office room. The paintings and furniture maybe fit a time or place, but it didn’t feel all that immersive
The GM was the highlight of the room. They were fully in character and their acting was the main theme we experienced beyond a short video
No
The intro video was more intense than was needed, especially given the room is not at all. The puzzles didn’t really feel like they fit a theme or made sense as to why they’d be there. Towards the end we had forgotten what we were even trying to accomplish.
Medium
The difficulty came more from the puzzles not fitting together as they should. They could have benefited from something else in the room thematically suggesting what you’re supposed to do.
Mechanical
3
I say 3 mostly because the room is expensive for 2 people
Not scary
The intro video is the only scary part
Yes
One puzzle which didn’t have information to guide you and you had to just string it together was not as precise as intended and made it hard to solve. We eventually got a hint which basically told us to try again.
No
Not at all
You might not be able to do this room in a wheelchair or if you have serious difficulties walking
