230 escape rooms
Subway by Escape Time Erlangen was our 15th room of the Bavarian Escape Tour and the second of our final day. A noticeable change of pace after just having completed the intense Obsessed ๐ฑ at the same location, this room took us into the heart of the New York subway system, and did so in a fun, engaging way. The puzzles were solid and well connected to the theme, with a nice mix of classic padlocks and a few innovative mechanics that added freshness to the gameplay, nice flow from end to end. The sound effects helped keep the immersion alive, complementing the urban underground setting. While the experience wasnโt packed with surprises, it stood out due to its strong theming and solid execution. The game leans slightly on the challenging side, so having at least one or two experienced players on your team is advised. Recommended for teams looking for a satisfying, puzzle-focused room with a clear thematic direction.
