Friendly GM and a good solid escape game with lots of space to explore and a good mix of puzzles. We will definitely be back to do their other room when next in the area.

Game and narrative was really fun, worth a visit, parts of the game just needs fixing and logic needs looked at.
Game play was fun, but aspects were broken.
The set design was brilliant but couldβve done with more ambient sounds.
Staff were really friendly and listened to our requests.

Get Out escape rooms are based right in the city centre of Hartlepool near the docks and the game itself reflects the history of the city. The story was both funny and interesting leading the way throughout the game. The puzzles matched the story perfectly aiding in the progression of the story. The main mission of the game was to go back in time, save the monkey and change the future. We did have a small technical issue (the joys of technology) in the game but the GM was able to promptly remotely get us back on track with the puzzle. The game combined both technological and mechanical puzzles in places that made sense for the theming and the story. Although this was a multi room experience some rooms definitely had way more puzzles than others, one riddle in particular had us stumped. Overall a good game with a great historical story. Puzzles flowed seamlessly between one another. Multiple rooms that all kept the theme throughout. The puzzles and room all aided the history of the city.
Set design was solid, pirate ship theming throughout.
Super friendly staff, super attentive in the game.

The room flows really well. The puzzles are all logical and we both enjoyed the story. We've done quite a few rooms across the UK and Europe and this was one of the most enjoyable. Thanks to Alex who was a great host. We'll definitely be back to do their other room. Thanks guys π

For small little coastal town this room is a full spin on the local legend of the monkey and the cultural significance of 'monkey hangers'. Really fun room with good effects and fun puzzles that flowed really well, was a lovely treat on a Sunday afternoon!
Host was incredible, Alex was accommodating, friendly and cheerful and was a delight to have him as a host!
