man could this use some sprucing up. it’s really showing its age and everything is so freaking cheap it’s kind of offensive. this looks more like someone decorated their garage on Halloween with store props from party city. puzzles weren’t good either

Entering the room is the wow factor- a lot gorier than I expected. Would’ve been better if they had the lights turned down when you first walk in and then brighten it up once you’re in there. Puzzles were ok- some were a little bit of a stretch. Had a good time overall, but wish it would’ve lasted a bit longer- ended abruptly.

My favorite Escape Room venues are run by people who are as passionate about puzzles as I am. I’m confident Terri at Mouse Trap is one of those people. I wish they had a dozen locations because I’m consistently having a blast when I visit! 🤗
I like that most of the codes needed to proceed jumped out once I had a puzzle solved.
They actually did a great job. I just don’t like “bloody” rooms.
I always feel welcomed here.

I think the puzzles were pretty standard. I actually enjoyed that I understood most of what I was doing. I think that making anything too complex in this room would have taken away from it.
Despite the gore, they told a good story.

I only broke a sweat because I’m out of shape. LOL There was a bit of “crouch down, stand up” to collect clues, but that’s pretty much it.
There were a few color-related clues and some counting, so vision is pretty important. Deafness shouldn’t stand in the way of solving any of the puzzles. The location is on the second floor of an old building. No elevator. ☹️

There’s a sign from the main road and another you can see from the parking lot. It’s on the second floor.

The room was fun and tough. Many puzzles to figure out and some were easier to overlook than others. The overall layout was great, very true to the movies.

The Hostel room was ok. Not overly challenging. The ideas for a great setup were there but lacked decent props. For a mom and pop escape room, we understand props are expensive and we try not to get hung up on that. However, the props in this room were very cheap looking and took away from the overall feel of the room. This could’ve been helped by dimming the lights a bit I think. One of the puzzles was a good idea in theory but left us with a headache. I wish we could’ve adapted the puzzle so that didn’t happen but we ended up having to use a clue because we couldn’t bare to look at it any longer. We will go back and try other rooms there.
The story was good. Puzzles were easy but we didn’t really understand how it all went together
Props were a little cheap looking but overall the room was good. Another well lit room but a tap spooky with the setup
Terri was awesome again!

Not their best room. A lot of laminated papers and generic concepts. Do Octagon house instead.

The air conditioning was not blasting…. This is Florida and the room was uncomfortably hot (and that was with only 2 of us in there). Cheaply decorated… none of the major props were incorporated with the puzzles. The puzzles themselves were okay… pretty standard. And it’s a single room adventure … no secret doors leading to different areas … just one room divided with a clear divider. All in all … it was okay.
