This was such a fun escape room!! I felt like I was actually in the wild Wild West! I love breakout games with the immersive and great atmosphere of each room! I will say it is a little expensive now on the weekends with just two people.

Overall, this is a solid room from Breakout. The biggest reason that I didnβt love this room is that our game master, Chris, was not friendly. He even came in the room and made fun of us for little mistakes we made (even though we escaped). He also got mad when I asked if we could take a picture in the room (which I had done in several other rooms at Breakout Games Greensboro). I always keep those pictures private. They are just for the memories. He really just ruined the experience for my group.

I was surprised since I usually have a ho-hum experience with Breakout, but this was quite good. A solid Western theme. Good flow. An equal mix of tech and manual locks. Puzzles were generally intuitive. They went a bit further than usual with the immersion.
Great flow!
A good saloon representation. and I was impressed at some of the extra steps taken for immersion. Like using a regular clock instead of a
Josie stayed on top of things with us. If we needed a hint, she already knew where we were in the game. That's all we ask.

I've played every Breakout Room they've ever had. So when I found out a location nearby where I was traveling had a new room, I was excited to try it, especially since it promised some immersive tech-based puzzles. "Wild West" did not disappoint. It was a super fun theme with puzzles that made sense and contributed to the narrative. As a new room, there were some technical hiccups, but they were addressed quickly and the "awe" factor from what worked (particularly the "win" at the end) more than made up for it and validates game makes decisions to continue to incorporate these types of elements. Of note, since it wasn't included on the website description, one member of your party, is separated and blindfolded (briefly) and handcuffed (with a decent range of motion) for a period of time at the beginning of the game. It completely with the plot of the game, but it's good to know going in. We were a team of two and this room was challenging enough that we *just* made it it and fun enough that our debrief of favorite parts is still ongoing. Which, for me, is a truly successful escape experience.

Some unique clue types I'd only seen once before. And one big reveal I'd never experienced.

Some clue reveals are sudden from unexpected places, which could be startling. There are also simulated gunshots, both in the game play and background, increasingly towards the end, which could be unsettling.

This room is fairly knew and some of the tech was still a little buggy. Our game guide was great about resetting things (and pausing time), and was apologetic about it. But it didn't affect my overall enjoyment of the room.

You'll be moving between two spaces for the majority of the game. There's also a lot of actual handling and using of the clue props.
There is a smell puzzle in this room, and another clue for piecing together numbers may be difficult for individuals with colorblindness.
