The Conjuring

From the +500 rooms done, by far the worst one experienced so far: 1. Unrespectful Gamemaster 2. Non-functioning puzzles 3. DIY items everywhere 4. Occasionally locked door ruined entire gameplay 5. Non-hearable hints everywhere 6. Bad jumpscares 7. Ancient, ruined by time, props 8. Removal of our group from the last room after “not making it” without any explanation or clarification 9. More ways to solve the same puzzles than days in a year 10. No clue why this room is called the conjuring… Should I go further? I prefer not. In any case: Would not recommend to anyone. We haven’t done a lot of horror games and this was a great step to explore. Great atmosphere helped by a lack of health and safety and being told that once started you cannot choose to leave. Some great unique and well themed puzzles including some physical ones. We were rubbish with some of those but great fun trying with the help of our attentive GM. Quite a few screams with a spooky live actor. Recommended

This room is Amazing. Very creepy with the right atmosphere, and the right lighting, it’s very big. If you are claustrophobic not recommended. It has a very tight space that you are getting locked in the game with a strobe light that can cause a claustrophobic reaction to being mindful of it, easy to escape if you don’t panic and pay attention. Also, the rooms don’t have any panic buttons. In general, they are trying to put you in the mood to make it as much realistic as possible. Some of the puzzles are very mechanical and if you don’t do them correctly they are taking a lot of your time. Also, 75% of the lockers are 🔒 with code combinations or keys. Linear flow! Definitely a great experience if you are not claustrophobic and you want to enjoy a scary game!
