In the heart of Escaparium Laval's massive complex nestles a mysterious monument classified as a World Heritage Site, forgotten for several centuries: an ancient cathedral. Escaparium was built around this characterful building that once served as a sanctuary for a now extinct cult. Archaeological excavations and restoration of the monument have been underway for several years now. This allowed us to make major discoveries on the history of the cathedral and on a certain cult that we name, "The Order". Artifacts of rituals dating back centuries have been found and are currently being investigated. Come take the guided tour through the myths and legends of a forgotten past. A trip which you will never forget. (this is an escape game)!

I don’t even know what to say about this- greatest experience ever! Do NOT miss out on doing this one, even if you don’t like scary stuff.

HOLY HELL. Believe the hype, do the room even if you’re not into horror. It brought out the bravery in our team but also left us all with nightmares. I truly felt sucked into a horror movie. The crew did such an AMAZING job, from the acting to the set and design. I can’t sing enough praise. Definitely the best room I’ve ever done and I typically shut down in rooms that are even slightly too dark for my liking.
So much love went into this set, and YOU CAN FEEL IT. The first lobby already has you feeling uneasy on your feet and woozy and then once the action starts your adrenaline is pumping and the room is changing and you forget it’s a game and you aren’t going to die.

One of the set pieces was broken but we wouldn’t have known if the GM hadn’t told us at the end, we thought it was just a decoration
No
This is not an applicable question at this location. Are the actors in the room? No. But the GMs are SO in character and the way they guide and do their hint system is like no other and if truly felt like they were a part of our team without being physically there or in the way.

Crawling, running out of fear, and climbing a ladder up and down.

OMG! Escaparium has outdone themselves on this one. Equal to the best games in Europe, on par with Molly’s Game and Non-Believers. Definitely a must travel to play!

The experience ramps up quickly and doesn't let go until the very end. Such a fun experience to go through. It was a roller coaster of an experience that keeps on a tense lease for the entire experience. Completely immersive and a story that builds into an explosive finale. I will be thinking of this for years to come.

I can't comment because the room was not set up with accessibility in mind for our group.

9/10 The Forgotten Cathedral should change its name to The Unforgettable Cathedral because it’s an experience you will carry with you for ever. The production is cinematic, the story is beautifully weaved throughout, the puzzles are a perfect balance of challenging/originality/fun/satisfying, and the sheer size of the space is completely jaw dropping. This is by far one of the best escape room experiences in North America.

I was able to gather a random smattering of a coworker and two industry peers from a conference to visit this escape room. It has some really challenging puzzles, was an incredible production well worth the hype, and our tour guide did a fantastic job. Fantastic job to the creative team who put it together!

It’s astounding how much thought was put into this room. Every detail is filled with love - from the story, to the set, to the acting, to the puzzles, and even the little credits video at the end (lovely touch, by the way), you can feel how much this team cares. The #4 ranking on Terpeca is well deserved.
