Our second of 2 games at this location, LotS gave us less of a challenge than Vampire but it was fun nonetheless. Some puzzles required extensive thinking and connections to get to solutions and others were simply tactile or movement based. My biggest nitpick would be pacing. Perhaps it was just my team but with 3 people we were out in about 30 minutes, even having struggled with one puzzle for 10 alone. The hardest one felt like the middle of the game when we were really just minutes away from the end. All that aside, a well built and designed room for all ages.

Lord of the swords had an amazing atmosphere and mind bending puzzles and was a great experience. I would recommend to intermediate or professional players. Kept us on our toes

Not a big fan. The set was ok, and nothing was too out of place for a room of this quality. All of the puzzles were very easy, yet there was one puzzle (that my group spent half the time on) that I would consider almost impossible without a hint. For story, it was ok, but it never really mattered. Throughout the whole room, it felt like we were gonna reach this vast treasure and it was going to be great, but in reality the room ended and we didn’t even know it. The room ended with the GM going through the door and congratulating us and my whole group was confused at why it ended so early and that it ended at all. TLDR: the room is ok, nothing really stood out to my group, it’s good for less experienced escapists, and the ending is very, very anticlimactic
It was ok. I never felt any flow between the puzzles, and all of them were really weird to do.
The set was good. The puzzles all fit with the story and its timeline.
Was very average. Wasn’t treated well but not badly. GM treated it like it was just a job for money and didn’t have much emotions.

Barely any plot. When my group finished the game we were expecting a hidden door to open. The final treasure was in perhaps the worst place it could have been. (Story wise)

All the puzzles were very easy except for one which I would consider almost impossible without a hint.

This room was cute! If you’re into the fantastic swords-and-sorcery theme, this is a great game to play, for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. The set design was great and and well put together. There were some creative uses of props and the puzzles had a fair amount of challenge to them. The story fit the room’s decorations well, and the end of the game felt satisfying based on everything building up to it. We had fun!
