The 1800s California gold rush was a time when just about anyone could get lucky with a fortune. No one knew this better than your recently deceased relative, Clyde Hamilton. Though he’s since passed, the prospector left behind quite a pretty penny in gold. As his surviving next of kin, he’s offered you a chance to claim the gold fortune as an inheritance for yourself…if you can find it! You’ve only got 60 minutes to get into Clyde’s cabin and take the gold stash before news of the fortune reaches other greedy ears in town…

Great room! On the easier side a little bit; but perfect for beginners! It was a very exciting room with lots of fun puzzles, and flowed very smoothly!

Puzzles were well setup; smoothly led to the next puzzle as the game progressed.

The room setup was awesome! Multi level room setup, and diverse different rooms! Puzzles were themed around each room and setup was awesome!

You get to shoot a BB gun (extremely safely of course) to solve a puzzle!

Each room in Gold Rush was well designed and matched well with each room theme to overall find the gold treasure.

Great room for beginners! I went with 4 friends who’d never done a room before to get them to experience an escape room finally. With a little help, they had a blast solving puzzles and finding codes to locks! They loved the surprises throughout!

The room had fun features I had never experienced before. We (a party of 6) were booked with another party of 2. With the parallel games, we missed out on a lot of the things that the other group solved and didn't communicate to us.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! It was our second visit to this particular location (within a 3 day period 😆) while in Honolulu for our babymoon, and it exceeded ALL expectations!!! The game host (Clarisa) and front desk attendant were excellent and so very kind. They noticed my wife was pregnant and even wrote my us a super nice card while we were in the room and gave it to us with a nice little gift once we escaped. They were just all-around great people! The Gold Rush room itself was top-notch too, and is by far one of the best we’ve done. Not only was it super fun and interactive, but it was also one of the most “physical” and was just super clever all around. I really appreciated multiple of the puzzles and thought they were very clever/fun. Very well done, Escape Game Honolulu! We will certainly be talking about our experience with friends/family and recommending this company to all!
