Hut 17

Exceptional. We visited immediately after a pretty poor experience somewhere else and in the middle of a heatwave. We had to take an Uber and found ourselves in the middle of an industrial estate,an hour early and with frustration and heat exhaustion starting to take over. We went into the go karting building, which is joined onto Cipher Escape, where we enjoyed big fans and cold drinks before an an unassuming young man approached us and said he was Lincoln our GM and would take us into Cipher Escape because it was air conditioned. We followed him next door and the fun began. I won’t give spoilers but will just say go and do this fabulous room. It is atmospheric, challenging, surprising and just fun. Lincoln continued to blow us away with his hosting. Yes he was totally engaging and clearly loves his wonderful room, but it was the thoughtful touches like he moved us into the cooler room even though he had prepared a different room prior to our arrival. He offered refreshments and free snacks! He talked through every aspect of the room and our successes and failures in relation to the puzzles. The room is tough but every second was a joy. We got to do new puzzles and use new props, and everything felt authentic to the theme. Again, an exceptional experience.

We absolutely loved this! The theming and puzzles were top rate, and everything was very logical!

Had a great time at Cipher playing Hut 17, the experience was well themed and thought out and puzzles fun and challenging. Our host Phil was great, both welcoming and friendly.

This room was awesome. Definitely in the absolute top tier of rooms I’ve ever done. The theme and puzzles worked really well together and were perfect for the location. Lots of really unique and thoughtful details. One of (if not) the best endings/finales of any room I’ve done. Also cool that there are two duplicate versions of the room so bigger groups can participate or compete head to head.
