The 1800s California gold rush was a time when just about anyone could get lucky with a fortune. No one knew this better than your recently deceased relative, Clyde Hamilton. Though he’s since passed, the prospector left behind quite a pretty penny in gold. As his surviving next of kin, he’s offered you a chance to claim the gold fortune as an inheritance for yourself…if you can find it! You’ve only got 60 minutes to get into Clyde’s cabin and take the gold stash before news of the fortune reaches other greedy ears in town…

5 escape rooms
I completed this room with 2 people who are novices at escape rooms. They loved it, and as a seasoned escape room player, the room does not disappoint! The room provides a good mix of easy and challenging puzzles to encompass players of all experiences. The design of the room was brilliant!! This room, however is rather linear, so there's not a ton of of "divide and conquer" like I advise people to do. One piece of constructive criticism I would offer is to include a whiteboard to write down certain codes and bits of information.

The room is very linear, so 3-4 is perfect!!

Another fun room by TEG! A great atmosphere with unique puzzles, though some of them seemed to have odd answers or ways to solve them that delayed us for a while. The room is very dim, so I’d suggest larger groups bring more flashlights than the ones provided.

As reviewed previously, The Escape Game franchise continues to be THE standard by which all other rooms are measured. And once again, Gold Rush did not disappoint. This was one of the easier rooms at this location and was mostly linear. This would be an excellent game for a team with a few rooms under their belt. The room is very immersive and had some very fun puzzles, some of which we had not yet seen. We had a great time playing Gold Rush.
The game flowed very well and was mostly linear. The puzzles were all very well designed and there was one in particular that we hadn't seen before but had fun "solving." The Gold Rush concept, while arguably similar to other rooms was unique for us.
Excellent and immersive set. Very well designed. Every part of the room supported the overall theme. A lot of fun.
Harrison informed us we were the fastest team she'd seen play this game so clues were minimal. She helped us at one point that was obvious to us the second she said it. She supports our belief that The Escape Game only hires inviting, friendly, professional, passionate GMs to run their rooms.

The different parts of the room were all well put together. In over 70 escape rooms this one was unique from any others we've done based on the overall theme and a couple of the puzzles we solved.
Every part of the room was well integrated toward our finding the gold.
Medium
On the easy side of medium. Definitely not a beginner room but not too challenging.
Mechanical
Mechanical with supporting tech. A lot of locks but some tech built in. A great mix.

This would be a fun game for younger kids. Not scary at all and most of the puzzles were simpler and very straightforward. Quite a few fun puzzles.

The location is imbedded with other businesses. We were able to park nearly out front, but there is more open parking within a short walk.

Great room! Love the changes of environment as you progress - the puzzles were refreshingly different from other rooms that we’ve done, very creative! We love recommending this room to people who are starting to get into escape rooms ♥️

This was another fun room by this company! Multiple rooms and unique challenges I hadn’t seen in a room before. Only shortfalls may have been from an inexperienced room master, who didn’t completely reset the room properly.
