Really you have to have the live actor. With that out of the way, I was so excited to do this game finally and it did not disappoint. So many hidden tricks with this one. Things I’ve never seen before. So well done. Loved this game. It is dark so if you need glasses bring them.

Such a fun room. We completed it with three people, great game master, and if you’re up for the extra scare factor you can play with the extreme version with the live actor. Everything worked like it should and the puzzles were pretty straightforward.

Overall this is one of my favorite escape rooms! It’s definitely top 5. Other than the treehouse of course. I am not usually a scary escape rooms goer but this one isn’t bad and it’s definitely a good one and with a try!
This game actually amazed me with the detail it had. This was my first scary room and I REALLY enjoyed it even though we did not escape. The puzzles itself are not hard but what really get you is working under pressure and you also will definitely be getting separated
It was definitely immersive and if you are looking for a good scare this room is for you

much less fun than expected since it’s an award winning room. puzzles are not novel, even boring and hurt the eyesight, we got frustrated in the middle. not sure if it’s because we removed the live actor.

We had an amazing time! The props, set, and design were right on theme and you truly felt like you were in a haunted house. We did it without the scare actor (I’m a scaredy cat) but we are definitely considering doing it again with the scare actor as we now know there are some different puzzles/aspects if you choose to do it with the scare actor.

Something folks need to know about me is that I will not actively seek scary rooms but I can be peer pressured if the room had good reviews. This room matches the description to a tee. I appreciate that this room did not rely on the darkness to make the puzzles difficult. The scares here were more spontaneous and I remember feeling dread from just not knowing what will happen, rather than the scare itself. Now for some recommendations - I wish that the story made more sense with the puzzles. The puzzles were fine but when I think back the puzzles, I did not know exactly why we were doing them most of the time. I’m glad I got to use some of my brave muscles for this experience and I also wish that the audio was better. The audio was muffled even in the beginning video when we were being introduced to the storyline, which made it hard to understand what we were walking into. Great job Confusion Escapes! I hope you all make more escape rooms soon so I can come back and visit.

Really enjoyed this escape room, you can tell they really cared about creating the rooms. Will be back to play the other rooms!
