The Gate

Such a fun room and nice blend of genres. This might be a shorter review to avoid spoilers; I'll just say it was a blast to play. A mix of puzzles, some very unique ones and great use of the space to push the game play. The mapping worked very well as there is a mix of non-linear elements but nothing became confusing. Highly recommend this room (you need at least three people to play). While you are here for this room, give Cinema 7 and Disappearance a try too. Those two and this one are my favorite from this location. Tidbits: It's an outdoor mall with a parking garage so lots to do but parking can be tough based on the day of the week and time of day No rebooking discount

I think this room might have been decent when it first opened, but it may need a refresh. Multiple puzzles were broken when we played, which negatively impacted our experience. Given the extremely high level of quality of Cinema 7 and Disappearance, The Gate was just sub-par. The story of the room is fine and there was one set piece aspect that I really thought was cool (I won’t elaborate as I don’t wish to spoil anything), but all in all I just can’t recommend this room.

The environment is cool, but if you have allergies, asthma, or breathing difficulties, I suggest bringing a mask to ensure you can focus without distraction

A fun room! Super linear with one puzzle requiring six hands, but all others done one at a time. I love the blend of Egyptology and science-fiction in the theme.

Very fun and our game master was great!

Undecided on this one. Didn't love it / didn't hate it. Parts were neat and creative, others didn't grab us. Regardless, GM Miles did a great job ensuring that we stayed on task and experienced it through to the end.

Excellent setting. Puzzle were clever. Enjoyable even for those who have done many escape games.
