Ghost Light

Amazing room, especially for anyone who enjoys theatre. There were several puzzles I had never seen before and I really enjoyed. There was one puzzle we got stuck on for a long time - we had the right idea, but there was one small caveat we kept missing, which wasn’t the easiest to understand based on the puzzle. After getting a nudge it was obvious what the solution was and I can see how we should’ve gotten there. The puzzles were all really interesting and unique. MyssTic definitely puts an emphasis into unique stories and immersion and it shows! I would recommend their rooms to anyone visiting NYC in a heartbeat.

This was such a cool escape room. If you like theater, especially if you like backstage, you will really enjoy this room. If you could take or leave theater but enjoy escape rooms, this one had some really cool and creative elements that you’ll enjoy. It wasn’t too easy, but not too difficult either. I wouldn’t play this room with more than 4 players. It was perfect for 2 experienced players.

Fun theme! Not scary or too spooky. The story line was unique and the puzzles were as well!

Aaand that’s 100 rooms!!!!! This one was great! Very unique. I’ve never done a theater-esque room before. It had a concept that I’ve seen used once before in an escape room. It will never get old haha. The final sequence was very memorable. Second best room at Mysstic.

I absolutely loved this room and would highly recommend starting with this one if you come to MyssTic to play multiple of their experiences. The theming of this room is so well done and I even learned something about the room’s namesake from our incredible game master, Meeka.

Fun story that felt very New York— it’s no wonder this is one of the most highly recommended games in the city. The marquee set piece was a highlight of the entire location. That said, this room really suffered from poor lighting in some areas.

Unique theme: a haunted theater. The story is interesting and the environment fits the story well. Puzzles are largely good. The final sequence is quite memorable. The unique story/theme didn’t quite click with me — this is actually my least favorite of MyssTic’s three rooms. (It’s still quite good though!) 4/5

Nice room with a cool story and very fun to play. Nice GM as well.

Great Idea and Story, good decoration, riddles we haven't seen elsewhere. But the objects look used already a lot. GM was good. We liked it, but wondered that there are just a few really good rooms in NY.
