Ghost Light

It’s a great game in a great neighborhood. Unlike other corporate run escape rooms, time and care has been put into making Ghost Light thematic and novel. With hundreds of escape rooms, it’s hard to differentiate; but without spoilers, Ghost Light found several way that are truly one of a kind. Only a handful of traditional locks, lots of tech, and VERY attentive GMs

This is a great room. Did not know the story of the Ghost Light. There's plenty of clever puzzles in here. All puzzles are very on theme with good usage of mostly everything in the room. There's a great ending to the room as well.

A perfect room for our NYC visit, especially after some Broadway musicals. I loved how immersive this gorgeous set was and how creatively every puzzled tied into the theatrical theme. Didn't realize til after that this was (iirc) a lock-free room, which is not only impressive design but bolsters the old timey theater theme. Highly recommend and lots of good bookstores and eats in the area!

Some unique puzzles and mechanisms in the room that were all on point with the theme. The very few locks they had were old timey that fit the room's time period. Touching ending that will stay with me long after I've played this room. Easy to see why it's won awards year after year. Worth the trip out to Brooklyn - 25 mins on subway from Theatre District. Perfectly themed if you're in New York City to see a Broadway show.

We just loved everything about it! 2 enthusiasts finished in about 30 min. Love love love!

Obsessed with this location and both of their rooms. Such great mechanisms with puzzle solving by and very few (probably only 3 total between both rooms) number locks. The end of Ghost Light was probably one of the most rewarding finishes and such a unique concept. To note for anyone who is easily scared, the term “ghost light” is a theatrical term so there aren’t really any spooky elements. I can’t recommend this place enough! My only qualm is there aren’t more rooms, but it seems common for the really awesome rooms I’ve played to only have a couple

Amazing experience! With two experienced players we had a great time. This wasn’t outlandish-ly difficult but also posed enough of a challenge for us. Vibes? Immaculate. GM? Loved them. Definitely a must go if you’re in Brooklyn!

This room engaged us in ways that we haven't seen in other escape rooms...It was both intellectually very satisfying and had a strong, rewarding sensory component. Magical. Great staff and a wonderful conclusion!

It was fun and cute. Not hard. We finished with two people. good puzzles. just the last puzzle takes awhile.
