This was a really great room. I have done a lot of escape rooms with this group. And this one one while not particularly difficult was just so much fun. Lots of great theming. Multiple puzzles that could be worked on at once. Some really fun surprises. I won't spoil. Great hosts. They just have to give this an all-around thumbs up.

Gameplay

Not the most difficult. But super creative.

Atmosphere

Lots of great atmosphere. From lighting to sound effects to some video elements. Very very immersive.

Customer service

Our host made it super fun. And right from the start immersed us in it.

We had seven people. And there was plenty of puzzles to go around. But if you want it to be a little more challenging, I think doing it with four or five might be better.

Like, wow, gang! This game was an absolute joy to play - a classic whodunnit meets fun puzzling, all taking place in a beautifully designed environment. Excellent flow, creative use of space, and an obvious love and respect for the source material. It almost felt like we were the stars of our own hour-long episode of TV, complete with memorable beginning, middle, and end scenes, and good puzzling scattered between.

Gameplay

All of the puzzles fit their place in the story world nicely, and the puzzles were clued well. Our GM did a nice job briefing us on how they separate puzzles from the mystery you’re also trying to solve - the two never really interfered with each other.

Atmosphere

A very immersive way to begin the game, followed by distinct environments all brought to life with good use of space, lighting cues and effects, and sound design. They pulled off a couple of special effects particularly well.

Customer service

Damian was a great GM, giving us a helpful briefing before the game and paying close attention during our game.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

Not only are you solving escape room style puzzles - you’re also there to solve the mystery!

Story

The story was presented in a clean and digestible way during the intro, there were a couple of exciting plot twists, and the puzzles revealed clues that colored in more of the story along the way, all building to a satisfying end to the story.

Difficulty

Medium

Nothing about the game felt too difficult or too simple.

Game tech

Mechanical

While many of the solutions utilized physical locks, there are still plenty of tech-based special effects, lighting, and sound cues.

Ideal number of players

3

Some spaces in the game might start to feel cramped with 4 or more players.

Scary

Spooky

A couple of game sequences might start to brush up against “spooky” but absolutely no jump scares or any horror elements.

Minimum age

10

Was anything broken?

No

Live actors

No

Physically active

Very

At least one team member must climb, duck, and maneuver, and they’re up front about that when you’re booking the game.

Accessibility

Entrance to building is on the ground level. The game is not all on one level surface, including a large step up to get into the game, but there is likely a way around the starting sequence for someone who can’t make that step up. You can’t experience the full game without stepping, climbing, ducking, and maneuvering, but a majority of the game is on level ground. Hints are given via audio. Two puzzles require color differentiation.

Easy to find location

Yes

Parking

Easy

Free parking lot right outside.

Safety

Yes

Exit doors were always unlocked and labeled. Use common sense if you do anything more physical during the game.

Definitely as close an experience as you'll get to a real Scooby Doo adventure! It was really enjoyable. Very cool opener for the set design, and the set design stays solid impressive the whole way through. It was expansive considering how well it used all its space. The whole set all fits to the Scooby Doo mystery-solving storyline, so the immersion is really, really great. The vibe is mysterious-spooky with some dim lighting, but nothing scary overall. The puzzles were of a good variety. We definitely enjoyed them. I will say there was at least one puzzle where the leap was a little much for us. Even with all the experience we have (~70 rooms), we didn't make the connection and had to ask for a hint. Some puzzles were really simple and we overthought it too hard, and others you definitely had to think more lol. So keep your minds open and think both deeply and not so much. We did this as two experienced players and escaped with maybe about 10 minutes remaining? This is a great game for anyone because of the immersion and story and set design. Definitely great for families, too.

This is one of the only times where I feel like people COULD fall and be hurt a little. Definitely take note if you have children with your group. These parts definitely were cool moments in the set though.

If you like 1960s meddling teenagers and their talking dog, you’re going to LOVE this room. It hits every note just right, and was the perfect blend of escaping and mystery solving. Clearly made by someone who loves the original mystery solving gang, you can feel the passion in every aspect of this room. Not one detail was overlooked. Very well done, a good balance of tech and classic locks, super immersive, and overall it was fun to do.

Gameplay

Second escape room for me. This one was pretty amazing. So much going on here, but things flowed well. The Scooby vibe was nostalgic and everyone loved it.

Gameplay

Very fun to experience the gameplay here as you learn more details with each new clue you uncover.

Atmosphere

Lots of locks, not all the same type though. And some techy parts which were great additions.

It’s such a intricate and very well-made room. I enjoyed myself thoroughly as the first part of the room seems like a regular room but once you open the first door, it’s a mind blowing spectacle. You can see that there was a lot of hard work and dedication not just to the puzzles, but also to the set itself. Even if some of the puzzles might be a little bit harder to figure out they’re not too hard are to solve. The best part is the constant guessing of who done it matching the theme of a Scooby Doo episode. I would do it again in a heartbeat and I rate it 10 out of 10.

Gameplay

The gameplay was excellent as it kept me guessing what puzzles matched to what and it kept me on my toes.

Eden was great and very welcoming! I loved all the set dressing and the interaction. I recommend this for smaller groups, as the puzzles work very linearly and not many things can be worked on at the same time.
