Every year, six old pals gather for a weekend of rest and relaxation. A little getaway from the stresses of life. Ah yes... lifelong pals, all riding the wave of success. Until...last year's getaway... when they all experienced one devastating blow after another... and the word in your circle is... it was no accident! And so, what normally is a weekend filled with old stories, fishing, drinking, and dear friends has now become a race to get to the truth and find out how these misfortunes have befallen your circle. You look around with narrow eyes at your so called best pals and just know...one of them...one of them is a rat and has sabotaged the others. But, which one?

Room concept is unique, but we found the puzzles to be frustrating. Several required leaps of logic and/or had red herrings. Additionally, several of the locks were quite finicky. Overall, we did have fun, but it’s important to be aware of the drawbacks going on.
Several puzzles were overcomplicated, locks were sticky, and multiple red herrings.
Yes
“Clue” concept is definitely unique amongst escape rooms.

Hard, but only because the solutions require leaps of logic.

Six would be ideal for game play, but room is on the small side.

We went with two people and that was probably a problem. The big draw of the room is being able to be a little naughty while playing Clue - but you can’t do that with two people or you won’t figure out the win condition for the room. Overall, a fine room with some fun a ha moments, but it needs the extra level of sabotage to really hit its stride.
The main premise - sabotage - has pros and cons. We did the room with two of us, but I don’t see how we would have succeeded if we’d really gone full Player versus player . . . It’s a great idea, but if you take it too seriously I can see how you could lose the room as a group.
The set design was very cohesive. It’s not where I would go for a “buddy” retreat, but if you like hunting, poker, and whiskey I guarantee it’s a paradise! The props were solid and clear to prevent any confusion when working on puzzles.
The team at both Escape Room San Antonio locations is just top notch. Cannot sing their praises enough. Having done (almost, they just released a new one so I need to catch up) all of their rooms every single time I’ve worked with someone who isn’t just there for a JOB, but is truly passionate about escape rooms.
Yes
The sabotage and Clue aspects are definitely different. The Player versus Player cards we found were a bit too overpowered in a 2 person scenario, but it was absolutely “interesting and different”.
The Clue aspect was great! The interwoven motives absolutely made sense. Seriously, you could make a movie with this plot and it would turn a profit.
Easy
The puzzles in the room were pretty standard for escape rooms with the theme imposed on them. The difficulty is definitely meant to be in the sabotage cards.
It’s hard to say, but 2 is definitely not ideal. What sets this room apart is the sabotage, and with just two people you can’t get away with it. The room is big enough for six in comfort, so that may be closer to the right size.
Not scary
Not scary at all, unless stuffed animals freak you out.
15
I’m going to put 15, because there’s a certain maliciousness and calculation that adds the extra element. If you play without sabotage you can go much younger, but that takes some of the fun out of it.

Was not my favorite room. We asked for a clue and she finally responded after 6 minutes and more asking. Simple straight forward game with some stupid puzzles. I like the clue style game

This was a simple, yet challenging and fun room. It’s less of an “escape” and more of a “Clue” style who-dun-it puzzle. The game master Lisa was exceptional, and engaging.
Definitely fun… not exactly a “flow” as all primary puzzles or clues are presented from the beginning.
Lisa was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The environment was professional and clean.
