Easiest EXIT game we’ve played to date. Not necessarily a bad thing, and to be fair, we’ve played a lot of these games, many of which were released after The Sunken Treasure. While I had fun overall, the puzzles felt too simplistic. Kinda like they just had a hodge podge of standard escape puzzles and threw them in here. Again, I liked it as a package, but it’s lacking compared to other EXIT games. Cool props though!

➕ Artwork Enhances Immersion: The gamebook's artwork is visually appealing and adds to the overall immersion. ➖ Puzzles Are Hit or Miss: While the puzzles are generally fine, many lack the "a-ha" moments that puzzle enthusiasts seek, making them feel less satisfying to solve. ✖️ Inconsistent Puzzle Quality: Some puzzles feel overly simplistic, while others rely on trial and error rather than logical deduction, leading to inconsistency in the overall puzzle quality. "Exit: The Sunken Treasure" falls in the middle ground as a puzzle adventure, exhibiting both strengths and weaknesses. It may disappoint those seeking innovative and well-designed puzzles. However, if you're looking for a casual puzzle-solving experience and appreciate the physical components that come with the game, it can provide an enjoyable evening of entertainment.

The Exit Game delivers on many levels. 1) Range of Difficulties 2) inexpensive for a group 3) Take Home fun 4) well designed 5) high quality This stay at home option for obsessed escapists is definitely a great option. It’s a great option for large families (that suffer the burden for the entire rooms price). It also build in a scoring mechanism for time and hints that penalizes you so it keeps the escapists honest.
