The Enchanted forest follows in at number 4 in my EXIT boxes and what an enjoyably creative box it was. I absolutely love it when EXIT make their box something more than just a box and this game did just that. Without any spoilers the box adds another level of immersion similar to the cabin. The theming of this game followed an enchanted forest and fairy-tales and the contents of the box and puzzle book followed suit. The variety of puzzles in this box ranged from arts and crafts to real brain teasers. And the final puzzle again was such a nice use of all of the components in the box. Very cute Exit game! With the fairy tale story and arts and crafts elements, it feels like a game geared towards younger players. Some of the puzzles may be little too vague or confusing for kids, though, so I feel like this one is best played in a family game night setting. For the most part, the game is easy and goes fairly quick. But those stumpers, and the time it takes to build the crafts projects, slow down the pace. I think it’s good for those who want to take their sweet time and savor the magic. I found the final puzzle to be especially magical!
