As a child growing up in the 1990s, it is hard not to have seen the movie Jumanji, which is clearly the inspiration for this room. It's a fun setting that brings back memories of the film. You have to play a game, and if you don't finish it, you will be trapped in the jungle forever. The room is beautifully decorated, with the game board at the centre, and there are plenty of nice details to get started with. The concept is quite simple: play the game and move your pieces correctly. The puzzles determine how far you are able to move your pieces. The room isn't linear, as you have four pieces to move, and on each turn there are four puzzles to solve. There are very few combination locks, with most of the room being electronically operated. A lot of emphasis has been placed on sound and lighting effects, and the overall atmosphere is uplifting and fun. It is a relatively beginner-friendly room, and in our opinion there is nothing scary about it, making it well suited for younger players as well. For experienced players, the room may feel a little too simple. There isn't much beyond the props needed for the game, which makes the room very easy to navigate and potentially quick to complete.
