Murder at the Mill

Permanently Closed - Murder at the Mill is back for its third year at Mill Green Watermill & Museum, and we’ll be running Friday to Sunday from 11th July to 25th August (plus the bank holiday Monday on the 25th)! For returning players: this event is not located in our Campus West space, though it is only a few minutes’ drive away! Mill Green is a sleepy village where nothing much ever happens… that is, until a murder is discovered! The local constabulary are baffled—there’s only one thing to be done. They call on Clue Company, the world’s greatest detective agency, to see if its super-sleuths can crack the case. Are you and your fellow investigators up to the challenge? This intriguing escape room whodunnit will take you around the beautiful grounds of Hatfield’s 18th Century working watermill as you race against the clock to solve the crime! Choose your own route around the mill, tackling the challenges in whatever order you wish. Each puzzle you solve will give you another clue to the mystery: once you’ve gathered them all, it’s time to put your detective skills to the test! Who committed the murder? Where did they do the deed? Which weapon did they use? These are the questions you and your team will need to answer. You’ll have exactly one hour to unravel the mystery and close the case. Entrance to Mill Green’s award-winning working watermill is included in your booking, with tours available during museum opening hours! Once you’ve solved the mystery, you can explore the mill at your leisure, or celebrate your win with a cream tea at the Miller’s Kitchen Café!
