We finally checked out the original Meow Wolf, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It's big but not as big as some of the other locations. However, it definitely has some charm about it. It's a fun blend of exploration, mystery, and interactive storytelling. As you wander through what starts as an ordinary family home, you'll uncover hidden passages, strange dreamlike worlds, and plenty of fun surprises while slowly piecing together the mystery. We were here for almost 3 hours so I think we got our money's worth. Whether you're trying to solve the story or just exploring every corner, there was always something new to discover. Plan to take your time, stay curious and open every door. Oh and make sure you open up the dryer and the fridge! A truly unique experience and well worth a visit if you're in Santa Fe.

Really cool. It was our first Meow Wolf experience and it didn’t disappoint. We have the annual pass so we will definitely visit the one near home in Grapevine and Omega Mart in Vegas. Possibly even Houston. If you have the opportunity to do it, it’s a really unique experienced. We loved it.

Love the place, but it’s absolutely not an escape room and shouldn’t be on here. I’m giving it a thumbs down not because it isn’t worth the visit, but because of you’re looking for an escape room you’ll be disappointed to find this isn’t one.

Very whimsical and lots of fun corners to play with and understand. Pretty cool looking at the history too and seeing how the current vision changes over the last 10 years. Definitely get the app!

I don’t think I would call Meow Wolf an escape room, although there are some puzzle-like interactions. I don’t think I would call it immersive theater, because there are no live performers (but there are performances). I guess I would call it an art installation, but that doesn’t feel like a description that does it justice. I did find it fascinating and I would recommend it… just don’t ask me what to call it.

IMHO, this is the best Meow Wolf experience! As it’s the original, there’s a deeper flavor of experimentation and exploration than the other locations. I’m sure much of that has to do with the smaller volume of people who go through Santa Fe, as opposed to the other cities. The concert venue is phenomenal- and I will ALWAYS make a point to see Beats Antique there, as they utilize the entire installation for a magical pre-show experience!

This place is visual overload, with so many little and big rooms with every imaginable theme. If you get lost in the sauce, you could spend a whole day here and never be bored.
