The Cadavera family regrets to inform you that the exceptional visit of the... //GLITCH// January 6 1938, I have been alone in the manor since the start of winter. There is a gloom about this place that keeps me up even in the dark of the night. According to my research, it seems the manor was constructed on sacred ground, a possible source of dark magic, a forbidden art that may be at the root of the Cadavera family's wealth. The manor itself seems to have functioned as a sanctuary for a cult named Opus Luminum. It was within the torturous corridors of the north wing that I found a most unusual office. During my nightly rounds, I can hear screams that chill my blood. I believe they come from Celeste, a former butler, who supposedly left to live on a farm, but if rumor is to be believed, actually perished in this dismal room of which I am currently obsessed. Access to this room is categorically forbidden to the butlers, yet my sleepless nights drive me to defiance of this interdiction. I hope I can resist the call...

My favorite of the Eskapaz rooms and the cleverest one too. Some really fun actor interactions in this experience and cool effects from the lighting to the sound. Probably the most meta game to incorporate the manor itself. Not to be missed!

7/10 Your experience begins even before entering the room making you think “What did I just get myself into?” This room surprised me. It was fun, immersive, had good puzzles, solid flow, and hilarious moments. Definitely worth your time and money.

I truly loved this room. From the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be unique and just a fun room! So happy we decided to do it!

This room was excellent. It seriously checked the box of immersive and that is the number one thing that we go for. The puzzles weren't the most difficult we've encountered, but the energy and atmosphere gives that sense of complexity and helps add a sense of urgency. One particular part of this one blew my mind, and I absolutely loved, but I'll let you find out what it was yourself ;) My recommendation as the third game to do at The Manor (major bonus if you can do them back to back, recommended order The Barber, The Cadavera Case, Opus Memori)
Fantastic. Nothing felt like it dragged and lots of good reveals and moments came out of this one.
Atmosphere and energy was masterfully implemented in this one. Music, lighting, effects, all mixed together into an immersive and exhilarating room.
I'm a sucker for integrated hint systems, and this one was a fun one. The GMs were very engaged and invested in the roles, and that really made the experience engaging for us. 10/10 work from the performers.
Mechanical
Mechanics didn't seem to play a huge role in this one, but there was some very cool bits incorporated.
