27 escape rooms
Another gem from Doldricks! I love split start rooms and this was probably the best implementation of it I have played. Seemed to our group to be on the easier side which would keep this from being a 10/10 on my books, but definitely a 9+/10 room considering the set design, fun puzzles, and overall good time playing this game!
Gameplay was a lot of fun and flowed well. All the puzzles made sense and fit into the room’s theme.
Doldrick’s rooms never fail to amaze in the set atmosphere category. From start to finish, everything was eye catching and fit the themeing perfectly.
Great staff every time we have visited!
No
The set design and split start was definitely interesting and engaging, but wouldn’t say any puzzle was particularly unique.
The intro video and ending is very amusing along with the clues found throughout the room. It was one of the few rooms where we actually felt like we were in the story from the intro video rather than just being a player in the room.
Medium
Our group of four are reasonably experienced separately, but only played 4 rooms together previously. We escaped in 52 minutes with no assistance needed. Especially for this being a split start room, we were surprised by how easy it was. It didn’t take away from the experience at all, but once your team joins forces after the split start, I think the room could have benefited from more challenging puzzles.
Mechanical
Primarily locks and keys with one cool memorable element
4
4 seemed perfect for reasonable experienced players. Experts can probably get away with 2 while beginners would probably benefit from 6. Anything more than 6 will feel crowded and probably not enough to do.
