157 escape rooms
Now this room was *fun*! I really enjoyed the spy theming and the tech in this room and felt that the challenge level was great! Our group completed the “Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!” Room here first and were looking for something more challenging than that one. Despite Morty claiming that one was hard and this one is a Medium, I’d reverse that. They told us this was a 9/10 difficulty, so we picked this one and loved it even more. All around a great room and no complaints! Would recommend! For those visiting Orlando from out of state like me, 2 of us are big escape room enthusiasts and were trying to target the best rooms in the area. We prioritized TERPECA rooms and found this and “Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!” at this location to be well worth our time. I would have liked to do a couple of the other rooms here rather than some of the others that I played at a different company because of how enjoyable these 2 were.
Gameplay
Flowed well, great puzzles, and lots of fun spy activities to do!
Atmosphere
Great set design and tech effects.
Customer service
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
I’ve done other spy type rooms before, so not a unique concept. But very well executed!
Story
Not as much story to this one, but the premise of being a spy team/bomb squad is always fun!
Difficulty
Hard
I’m torn between a Medium and a Hard, since we escaped with 11.5 minutes leftover and we played with 3 people who had never done an escape room before. But I believe this was their most challenging room at this location.
Game tech
High tech
A mixture of combo locks and tech puzzles, but the tech outshone the rest.
Ideal number of players
4
2 - 5 is plenty for this room. We played with 5 and I don’t think I would have wanted any more, from a space constraint perspective.
Scary
Not scary
Minimum age
10
No restrictions from a content perspective.
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
Physically active
Somewhat
At least one person has to do some fun crouching and maneuvering around.
Accessibility
One puzzle in particular would be a challenge for someone with a mobility issue, but as long as one person in the group is able bodied, the rest would be able to still participate in that puzzle.
Easy to find location
