Archibald Tucker was one of the greatest explorers of the 1930s. His tales of adventure were known the world over and his prized journal documented every adventure. While exploring an abandoned temple in The Lost City, he uncovered a treasure so rare, no man alive had seen it! A sudden gust of wind slams the temple door shut - sealing Tucker and his journal inside! Both were never seen again. Your team of treasure hunters decide it’s time to finish Tucker’s quest. Armed with the latest technology, your research points you to the exact whereabouts of the lost journal which holds the secrets to finding the treasure. In your backpacks, you’ve brought all the materials essential for your adventure! You approach the temple confidently, but once inside angered spirits awaken and deem you unworthy of the riches held within. As a test, they grant you 60 minutes to prove your worth. You must work logically, interact with everything you find and solve puzzles to uncover the treasure! If you fail, the door will be sealed once more and you will surely perish! Can you locate the journal, find the treasure and escape the temple before it’s too late? Time is of the essence!

This room is very solid! Not too much about it stood out or wildly impressed me but start to finish it was fun and well put together. There were a couple moments of physical interaction to solve puzzles that I loved. The story and theme are admittedly pretty unoriginal but the set created a really nice atmosphere. I think this would be a great escape room for beginners!

Medium
Overall I would say it was fairly easy for our group (2 experienced players and one brand new) as we beat the room with over 15 minutes left. But the gamemaster did give us two nudges when we got off track. For the average player this room is probably medium difficulty.
Mechanical
A bit of a mix! There are a couple high tech moments but it was mostly mechanical.
3
One puzzle would have been difficult with 2 players so I think 3 is ideal. 4 would be fine but I wouldn't go above that.

This was a nice room, very atmospheric. Like others have said, our group found the puzzles to be pretty easy and we got out in about half an hour.

Great setting and props. Game master was funny and helpful. But the puzzles were a little simpler than I’d prefer, but our group is more experienced. Overall a fun time, and no need to rush, we got out with over 20 minutes left.

The room was really submersed and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We got out relatively early but it is an easier room to complete. Hannah, our game master was friendly and courteous. I have done all the rooms at this location and look forward to new ones in the future.
Hanna our game master was friendly and delightful.

We are avid escapees and we found this room fairly easy.
High tech
It was a good mix of tech and personal manipulation.

Escapology’s rooms are all linear so having more people does not provide enough for all people to participate

There was a fan in the room that we could turn on if we got hot. It was not themed and stuck out because of its modern look.
