What a fantastic room! I'm a bit worried that it's ruined other rooms for me. Very heavily tech-based with some really cool effects. There was one spot where we needed a clue simply because the lighting wasn't great so it was hard to see the object, but we eventually got it.
It was extremely linear, but it flowed well and contained loads of different puzzles.
The GM was great, getting right into the lore of the room. We also had a nice chat at the end.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
It was extremely immersive and had a theme that seemed quite unique.
The whole thing was incredibly well integrated, and the plot was definitely immersive and came back to the foreground at multiple times throughout the experience.
None of us are escape room experts, but we finished with plenty of time and without needing any real help. There are plenty of clues for the puzzles and I didn't notice any red herrings.
The entire room was really high tech.
Four at times felt almost too much, but in a few spots you'd struggle with fewer than 4. I wouldn't recommend 2, and more than 4 would be pretty crowded at times.
There was nothing scary or stressful.
I think a savvy 12-year-old could have really enjoyed this.
One element did occur before it should have, but that was probably because two of us split off and did another puzzle while the other two were still working on something. It didn't harm anything and didn't interrupt the flow of the room.
Physically active
Somewhat
There are some stairs involved, but beyond that it wasn't terribly physically active.
Accessibility
People with mobility impairment would certainly have issues, but it's possible the room has some solutions for that which we didn't see. We needed to communicate within the group so hearing impairment could be an issue. I don't think the room would be enjoyable for someone with vision impairment, but color blindness shouldn't be an issue.
You can see the building from Amsterdam Centraal. The confirmation email gave extremely good directions (with photos!) for where to go.
Parking
We travelled by train.
