Absolutely amazing. Top tier world class room. A must for enthusiasts
So many great game mechanics. Everything was on theme, nothing stood out of place.
Incredibly immersing. I can't think of any elements that stood out to remind me this was a game
GM was part of the immersion

Best escape room we have ever done and the best GM we have ever had! π€―π€―π€―π€―π€―

After having heard from many friends that played and loved this room, we finally played the Alchemist with a group of 5. The start is underwhelming: "What the *** is this...?!" ;) but right after that we had so many "NO-WAAY" moments! The room is absolutely beautifully built and offers many surprising twists. The story, the tech, and the design are incredible! It may not have the trickiest puzzles, but for me personally, that's a plus because it allows you to immerse yourself in the story even more and takes you along in an awesome experience. With this setting and amazing build quality, I also understand the higher price and find it justified. We had a great time and are all excited to play the other Sherlocked rooms!
High tech
Both very nice mechanical installations and some very nice high-tech parts!

This was our last room on a four day, 22 room trip, and it didn't disappoint. A great use of space, and fun puzzles made this one special. It ended up right over the middle on my ranking for the trip, but with so many high quality games, it's hard to rank them. This was fun, had some very impressive points, and a great flow! Highly recommend if you are in Amsterdam!

I donβt think Iβve ever had this much FUN playing an escape room! We were mesmerized by the immersive and beautiful set design throughout the game. The puzzles were fun, unique and very logical. Our GM was amazing and he lived in the moment with us during the whole experience! What a perfect way to start our little escape trip to The Netherlands!

Absolutely loved this room- from beginning to end. The love the creators put into the room is clearly evident. The puzzles were fun and all made sense. The Easter eggs they also have in the room add to its uniqueness. The keepsakes at the end also were amazing- much better than just a sticker!

What a fantastic room! I'm a bit worried that it's ruined other rooms for me. Very heavily tech-based with some really cool effects. There was one spot where we needed a clue simply because the lighting wasn't great so it was hard to see the object, but we eventually got it.
It was extremely linear, but it flowed well and contained loads of different puzzles.
Absolutely amazing set!
The GM was great, getting right into the lore of the room. We also had a nice chat at the end.
Yes
It was extremely immersive and had a theme that seemed quite unique.
The whole thing was incredibly well integrated, and the plot was definitely immersive and came back to the foreground at multiple times throughout the experience.

None of us are escape room experts, but we finished with plenty of time and without needing any real help. There are plenty of clues for the puzzles and I didn't notice any red herrings.
High tech
The entire room was really high tech.

Four at times felt almost too much, but in a few spots you'd struggle with fewer than 4. I wouldn't recommend 2, and more than 4 would be pretty crowded at times.
Not scary
There was nothing scary or stressful.

I think a savvy 12-year-old could have really enjoyed this.
No
One element did occur before it should have, but that was probably because two of us split off and did another puzzle while the other two were still working on something. It didn't harm anything and didn't interrupt the flow of the room.

There are some stairs involved, but beyond that it wasn't terribly physically active.
People with mobility impairment would certainly have issues, but it's possible the room has some solutions for that which we didn't see. We needed to communicate within the group so hearing impairment could be an issue. I don't think the room would be enjoyable for someone with vision impairment, but color blindness shouldn't be an issue.

You can see the building from Amsterdam Centraal. The confirmation email gave extremely good directions (with photos!) for where to go.
We travelled by train.

Fascinating mechanics and a clean elegant design. The plot flowed nicely and there were some fun ways to interact with the space.

There were quite a few stairs to get to the experience (not sure if the elevator is permanently down or not). There are also stairs in the experience that have to be climbed to get to the second half of the game. I'm not sure how this could be made accessible.

It's in a huge building and you have to find the right place to enter.

I would think it would be difficult here because it's in the city center where parking is very expensive, but we took the metro in and didn't have to park.
