66 escape rooms
Some despicable villains created and spread a deadly virus many years ago. A cure for the dangerous virus has still not been found. Fortunately, an inventor has built a time machine that can be used to travel back in time and prevent the virus from being spread in the first place. Unfortunately, the villains also discovered this and killed Ole the inventor before we could figure out how to activate the time machine. You begin in the inventorโs workshop and must now activate his time machine so you can travel back in time and stop the virus before humanity is wiped out. When you enter the room, the time machine is right in front of you, so thereโs no doubt about what needs to be activated. The rest of the room is a mix of maps, clocks, and other gadgets. The room is beautifully constructed, and you fully buy into the illusion of the time machine. Unfortunately, the battery in the time machine only lasts 60 minutes, so you must, of course, make it back to your own time before it runs out. The theme is fun and different from many other escape rooms that revolve around a virus and a cure, making it a refreshing twist on the concept. The puzzles are well tied to the theme and make good sense in relation to the solutions. In terms of space, 3โ4 people is an ideal number, but there is no minimum requirement for participants.
