Fun room Reading previous reviews I can say the current state of the room works very well Well themed, some fun puzzles and a story carried throughout the experience There is a very nice variety of elements from start to finish The things we got hung up on l, we joked after, we think less experienced players would have blew through some of the puzzles we either over thought or just over looked - that’s an in problem, not a room problem This is a really cool location and this was a fun room. Nice spooky vibes throughout. No jump scares but the vibe is strong so this could be a nice compromise room if you have folks that don’t do scary as this will be okay for them and still whet your spooky appetite Recommend the room and location (from what we played Split is still my favorite) Tidbits: Parking isn’t bad but it’s street parking or a parking garage (free meters on weekends) Nearby shopping or food Very warm staff and a cool lobby

We had such a great time in Asylum! What made it especially memorable was our team of two being paired with a family of three. The collaboration, different experience levels, and different ways of thinking made it even more fun. The room had a perfectly spooky atmosphere and the puzzles were refreshingly unique; they fit with the theme so well and really elevated the entire experience.

So…I was a little cautious about booking here just because the Morty reviews were mostly saying the rooms weren’t good - PLEASE DON’T KEEP THE REVIEWS FROM YOU VISITING!!!!! This room was the first of 5 I played SOLO yesterday and it had a great puzzle flow - things made sense and the room wasn’t in a bad condition at all. They might have fixed some things since previous reviews mentioned things not triggering as all of the magnets in the room triggered totally normal all the way through end game! NOT to mention this room is pretty large!! When you thought it would end it had a few more surprises to keep you going. I ended up escaping in about 43 mins and some number of seconds with just myself :) My game master - Emily also had PHENOMENAL energy and was great about giving hints whenever I had asked, and promptly too

The theming was good but the flow was poor and a significant portion of the game was essentially a scavenger hunt. A worn out element led to a wrong code and caused a significant delay. Game master easily could/should have intervened when it was clear that we had the puzzle correct but a bad piece of information.

Great experience here at Asylum! Loved the game master and the scary aspect of the entire thing, although it wasn’t too scary. Great value!

Horrible game flow, worn puzzles, game host didn’t know where we were at and took minutes to send a clue. So many 4 digit locks… yikes. Left with a headache.
