My wife and I enjoyed this room. Well themed. We felt the puzzles fit the theme. Some cool puzzles/activities and some were somewhat unique. Cullen our GM did a great job throwing us off at the start.

The Dracula Museum is a place of great infamy: from the cryptic and haunting artifacts that adorn its walls, to its history of visitors mysteriously disappearing, and the rumors of it being home to a real vampire. But you don’t believe in any of that stuff, and you’re going to prove once and for all it’s all fake; after all, they are just rumors, right? They can’t possibly be true…

Cool room with a couple unique elements. Game masters can make or break an experience..this was the first room we just stopped early by choice and didn’t finish. The room can be great but we didn’t enjoy our time with Nerd Escapes.

This escape room was Okay. There wasn’t anything particularly special, but still overall enjoyable for what it was. I loved the set design the most because of its immersion and artistry. I would recommend a team of 2-4 players. This room is played in a linear format but requires some teamwork and abstract thinking. With 2 players, we were stuck at certain points as we felt that some of the puzzles involved assumptions or ambiguity. For its theming, they Nailed it with the props, costumes, and set design. I just wish certain parts of the storytelling was longer and that the puzzles were more specific.

The gameplay was linear and made sense. There were some technical issues but nothing that necessarily halted our experience. This room is a little bit older than some of the others, so expect the props to be fairly used and a little old.
Throughout, it had a spooky/creepy vibe but not scary. You have to be okay with the dark because there were some minor dark parts to enhance the spooky factor but nothing really intense. This room did a great job mixing with the puzzles and game play through its use to lighting and music.
Our GM was great! I appreciated his attentiveness and hint-drops. He even discussed certain parts with us after we completed the room and was really knowledgeable and engaging.

This room was A LOT of fun! Great theme that is well done all throughout. I find it to be a lot of fun when escape rooms are more than just a bunch of locks & this room was full of exciting and new ways to solve puzzles. Definitely a memorable one for me!

Fun room for our group of 3. Not sure if there would be enough puzzles to occupy a large group but it was very thematic and fun. It would be nice if they offered group photos before/after completing the room.

No
A few things were a little wonky due to sensitivity or lack thereof but not to the point I’d describe them as broken.

It was OK. There’s not a lot of really good rooms in the Raleigh area and I’ve definitely heard that there are other rooms are better. As someone that has done a lot of escape rooms and is pretty experienced in the field. I would definitely say this doesn’t place in the top 10 on my list.

It was OK there’s a few aspects that were pretty unique but overall was pretty basic.
They did some pretty good set design that I was pretty impressed with for a smaller company.
The game master was pretty nice. She helped us if we needed it and she was a very sweet girl.
No
No, I have done other vampire style games that were a lot more intuitive. It definitely wasn’t bad at all, but nothing was particularly “Wowing”
Honestly, this room is pretty forgettable from the story. It’s a basic Dracula story. Nothing special nothing different.
Easy
Other than the fact that the game master told us, we only ever use everything once and that’s not necessarily true. It was pretty easy. There’s only one aspect of the game that I was like “oh, I would’ve never guessed.”
High tech
I wouldn’t necessarily say either there’s a couple components that I had never seen before which is pretty unique. But otherwise I would lean more technical just because of the electrical components needed for some of the tasks.
3
I would say a lower number it’s relatively linear and there is spaces that you can’t necessarily fit a lot of people.
Spooky
I would lean not scary, but if you have somebody that is easily spooked they may find parts of this little spooky.

I would say leaning more high school age I can see how this room could be a little spooky for somebody that is younger.
No
I wouldn’t necessarily say anything was broken. They were a few parts to wear. I would’ve expected them to work better than they did.

There is no major physical activity needed for this. There’s a singular spot where you may need to crouch, but that’s it.
There are dark areas for people that may be visually impaired and to actually get to the room. I do not believe there is anyway someone in a wheelchair could get to it.
No
Technically, yes, but they have three different buildings in the area that look exactly the same. The first one is their old rooms. The second one is a completely different company and the third one is their new rooms. You literally have to walk in to each one and ask where the room you need to be in is. It’s honestly pretty annoying.
Medium
The parking lot is kinda hidden and you kind of don’t expect it to be there and there’s also not a whole lot of parking. There is street parking but it’s metered.

YES! The atmosphere and decor were phenomenal! The puzzles were fun to solve and made you feel as if you were actually in Dracula’s castle. I particularly liked the end…
One of my favorite themes and it did not disappoint! The elements of the experience were very memorable and well integrated into the theme!
Spooky
Between spooky and scary… game play was spooky but I considered the end a little scary (which I loved!)

Our Game Masters were really kind and made this room fun! it feels more linear - however, there were at least a few puzzles in each room that people could split up and do. it was better than other Dracula/vampire rooms I’ve done in the past. Wish this company all the best!
Very immersive and fun plot!

I REALLY wanted to like Dracula. It's their newest room and yet because of some technical issues and a gamemaster that was especially unhelpful, the experience was tempered. Let’s start with the basics: the set design was beautiful (which was a nice change from doing the rest of the rooms, which operate on a minimalist design). Like all of their games, the puzzles are not easy. But the lack of help from the gamemaster really hurt the flow and we spent way way too long on one puzzle. There was also some confusion at the end due to a tech glitch so we weren't sure if we succeeded in the end. This is still a room I would say to do if you are checking out Nerd Escape. You'll hopefully have a better experience.
