Forest of Echoes

A very solid rooms with a large variety of differing puzzles. That can be tackled in any order. The puzzles flowed very well but for a room that was rated max difficulty, the puzzles did feel a bit too easy. We finished with around 25 minutes to spare. Not a single puzzle was reused and everything was labelled properly which I quite liked. The set is really pretty as well immersing us in that seemed like a deep forestscape. As with most other Next Level Rooms, the gamemaster drastically elevated the experience with their dynamic responses. One of our players didn't even realise the narrative audio was not rerecorded but done in realtime by the gamemaster. Overall another must done room at Next Level!

I enjoyed the puzzles in this room, but found the story telling component to be way too much. Standing there for what felt liked 5 minutes just listening to a story really ruined it for me.

Beautiful set design, so immersive, variety of puzzles. From the description I was a little sceptical, but I was pleasantly surprised.

We loved this room. It was immersive and really creative. The design of the room was fantastic, I don’t think I’ve done an escape room like it before. Our game master (Scoutmaster Emily) was fantastic, funny, and really added to the experience.

Amazing immersive room and loved the set and narration from GM Emily. Would recommend to anyone who wants a strong narrative from an escape room.

Absolutely loved this game. So much fun and a really unique room. Enjoyed the way the puzzles played around the central mechanic. I love when a room has a game master that plays a part and really heightens the experience, the hilarious one liners and comments made it all the more fun! Thank you for having us!!!!

A great room with a huge focus on the story. Less GM interaction/narration with this one compared to some other rooms from Next Level as it focused more on the story of the room itself Loved how we had control of what puzzles to work on and the puzzles were really fun. Mikayla was our GM for this one. Gave us some clues when we were stuck, just enough to give us a nudge in the right direction and letting us figure it out ourselves.

GM was soo good and funny. The room was amazingly done

The rooms at Next Level themselves are interesting and fun, but the interaction with the GM as a character makes the experience leaps and bounds more immersive. Huge shout out to Nikki

THE VOICES,THE SPIRITS, GAH! Forest of Echoes is a truly fantastic room complete with interesting, varied puzzles, an in-depth multilinear story and gorgeous set design, it honestly deserves every bit of praise that comes its way. While thematically, there's something for everyone at Next Level, I'd say objectively this is their strongest, most complete offering. Tasked with following the stories of 6 unique spirits I found that even in a larger group there was so much to discover with props galore, hidden alcoves and even a bin chicken, I was having a really good time piecing it all together. I'd say where this room shines the most is its storytelling, every piece of the puzzle had purpose and meaning behind it backed by some impressive performances from the staff, it's hard not to be charmed by the whole experience. If you're only in the market for 1 experience here, this would have to be my pick, amazing room. Also shout out to Rosie our GM and scout guide and benevolent voice in my head, she really made the whole thing fun and light-hearted. Heck yeah. 9.3/10 🔏🧩
