Cool concept but as a group of only 2 it was really hard with being split the entire time. We struggled a lot. I recommend 4 people!

You can do it with out with out the actor which is a nice option. Communication is legit the only thing that will get you through a you start split

Had a ton of fun. We aren’t a fan of scary rooms so we were happy to not have the live actor with us. Finished the room with a little more than 20 minutes to spare with just the three of us even though the recommendation was 4. Overall a great room!

I cannot explain how terrified we were. We went with a group of four and let me tell you we were all screaming! The live zombie actor brought an immersive and unique experience for it. The difficulty was not terrible and the game master was so sweet and helped when we needed it. 10/10 would recommend. (The zombie actor we give props to is Ender)

What a fascinating room! First off, add on the actor: It’s so worth it. The zombie adds so much immersion to the room. This game offers the most prolonged split-start I’ve ever seen! The puzzles encourage collaboration and observation, as well as a slight bit of math. The cluing is clean, and there are so many ways that the game encourages teamwork. Lower tech, yes, but high-engagement and high fun! :)

Overall a fabulous room! The props and room were set up great. Good clues that flowed well with the room. Alcatraz has great escape rooms! Always suggest trying them out.

Oh boy. Scary. So fun, so spooky. But scary! Yes, my heart was pounding the ENTIRE time. Screaming happened. Ankles may have been turned. Teammates shoved to save lives. WORTH IT! (In case you can’t tell, I’m being somewhat silly. This game is fun but not dangerous). It’s math-heavy, fair warning if you’re like me and just don’t do math very quickly in your head.

Overall the game was fun, but could have been much better due to the Gamemaster. The Gamemaster never waited long enough for us to solve things. Way too clue happy when we never asked for anything. Never got to get a good idea of puzzle flow because of this. And we “broke the record” so we had lots more time to figure things out. But the puzzles seemed innovative and there was a variety of different puzzles to do. Multi linear so it kept us busy and fun to have to work together at the beginning when our group was split.

Treated well. GM was very nice BUT Intro was redundant, long, and too descriptive, like overboard. Also gave too many clues when we never asked and it effected the immersiveness of the game. But I think we would have really liked it.

Typical zombie plot and liked the immersive actor although makeup was very cheesy.

Having the zombie come out to attack was scary in that it was unknown what might happen at first and you could be penalized if touched. But the actual room and puzzles if left to themselves is not scary at all and you get used to the zombie’s actions so the scare level decreases dramatically after the first little bit.
