Find the Inheritance The 1800s California gold rush was a time when just about anyone could get lucky with a fortune. No one knew this better than your recently deceased relative, Clyde Hamilton. Though he’s since passed, the prospector left behind quite a pretty penny in gold. As his surviving next of kin, he’s offered you a chance to claim the gold fortune as an inheritance for yourself…if you can find it! You’ve only got 60 minutes to get into Clyde’s cabin and take the gold stash before news of the fortune reaches other greedy ears in town…

Another immersive room from TEG, but felt like there wasn’t much to do. Storyline wasn’t super strong. Overall still a fun room, would recommend for beginners!

This was the second room we did with this company and they were both super fun! We escaped both of them thus far. We are going back to do a third. This game did feel a bit easy but I have also done a very large number of escape rooms. The atmosphere was very nice with sounds and on theme puzzles. The workers were super friendly!

I would definitely recommend! This one is on our top five list so far. There were some creative puzzles and elements here, and the theming was great. I would call this a gen 3 room, but it still utilizes a high number of traditional pad locks.
There were a few puzzles we’ve seen before, but there were some nice surprises as well! Flow was great!
Set design and props were great. There was only one “special effect” that I recall, but overall it was pretty immersive.
Everyone was great!

We played a very similar themed room in OKC recently. There were a lot of parallels, but I wasn’t disappointed at all. There were definitely some different puzzles in this one.
The plot was pretty simple: “find the gold”. There were a few puzzles that maybe didn’t ‘blend’ with the theme well (but they were still cool puzzles).
Medium
Not the most challenging room we’ve done. I think this was more because we’ve seen many similar puzzles in other rooms. But we were stuck twice and needed hints.
High tech
There was an equal mix of tech and mechanical in this room. There were more padlocks than I usually like to see, but I didn’t mind so much in this room.
4
Four is a good number. They allow up to eight, but I image that would get quite crowded.
Not scary
It was charming - not scary at all
12
Some of the puzzles might be a bit challenging for younger players- so I’d recommend 12+, but the younger ones would definitely love the decor!
No
There was one puzzle that was ‘maybe’ broken? It took a lot of attempts, but didn’t require intervention, so I answered ‘no’.
No
Nope. Just some cute wildlife (props).
Somewhat
If you would have trouble going to your local playground and going down the slide with your kid, then this room might not be for you. They might be able to accommodate for this, but you would miss 1/3 of the room if they did.

There is a garage right at the end of the block.

Solid experience amongst TEG rooms. Puzzles towards the easier end of the spectrum; fun room design; and some good AHA moments. Definitely worth a visit.

This was, by far, the most fun I’ve ever had playing an escape room. My friends and I got super into the story, put on accents, and really got into character while playing the games. And our GM played into our tomfoolery so much, making our experience that much more enjoyable! The puzzles were extremely intuitive and super unique!! I’d never seen puzzles quite like them and it was so exciting to see how the game would continue and evolve. Not to mention, the atmosphere was absolutely AMAZING!! Again, I cannot overstate how amazing our GM is. He played so much into our hooliganism and surprised us at the end with an inside joke that my friends and I started at the beginning of the room! I also love that you’re allowed to take pictures in the room, it made it so fun to be able to record things and show people afterwards. I totally understand why other rooms don’t allow it, but I loved being able to show people the pictures from inside. Overall, both of the rooms I’ve done with this company have been OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! I cannot recommend them enough, it’s only an hour of your time for an experience you will be talking about for WEEKS!!! Please go play their rooms, you won’t regret it!
