Disco 54 NYC

It was fun from intro to outro. Room itself was fun and offered a challenge! Definitely want to go back and try battleship

The intro to this room was a little cheesy, but it was still a fun intro overall. The atmosphere inside the room resembles a laid back club you can chill at and have a conversation but get up to dance whenever you're ready. There are lots of references to the original Studio 54, and you can really tell the owner put a lot of attention into the details here. Loved the choice of having actual pictures of celebrities at Studio 54 as well as real records. Gameplay wise, the game stayed on track with the overall objective. Puzzles weren't groundbreaking, but they were all solid. Set design and props are all high quality which made the final room actually a bit jarring because of how plain it was compared to everything before. In general, the final room was underwhelming and probably the only blemish for me in an otherwise excellent room.

Disco 54 is straight up fun! It’s basically a club and escape room all in one! So if there’s anyone in the group who doesn’t want to solve puzzles for some reason, they can just dance the night away to music on the full disco ball lit dance floor! The escape room itself is filled with what I consider logical puzzles, or tasks that feel natural to accomplish if you were the DJ or bartender at the club. The last part is not as impressive as the full club floor, but that 1st room is so phenomenal that I didn’t mind too much. The real life story that this club is based on was interesting too, and the real photos hanging on the wall give this room history and personality! Highly recommended so get down and hit the dance floor!

Extremely fun game. The second area left something to be desired as far as set but the puzzles there were great. Overall really fun game we’ve played it twice.
