This game felt like it was designed by someone who was passionate about escape rooms but maybe doesn't have broad experience with top games and so has a unique perspective. Some things were a bit quirky: The amount of force necessary to apply in at least two places was more than we expected. While we were vaguely warned about this beforehand, a better solution would be to fix the expectation mismatch. Puzzles also didn't quite click with us, though this seems to be intended - afterwards, the owner mentioned how his design philosophy is to challenge even the best players, with the expectation that almost everyone will need to take some hints.
I think the best part of the game is what happened after. If you're bored of yet another post-game picture in front of a company's logo, take notes from this one - the owner did a good job posing us for interesting photos in a variety of places after the game. Also save time to talk to the owner, as there's a bunch of interesting trivia about the inspiration for the room. He's big on historical accuracy, which isn't necessarily obvious during the game but I think is pretty neat.
Overall, it's a fine game. Nothing super outstanding about it, but also nothing terribly broken.
The owner was great to talk to and had lots of interesting behind-the-scenes trivia.
Particularly interesting or different
No
2 enthusiasts was good, 3 would probably be OK. More than that might be too much.
Some ceiling lights weren't working. Not a big deal, as they were mostly decorative and didn't impact the game.
