Amazing rooms and the owners were fantastic!

Oh my gosh. Amazing is an understatement. The set design and work put into the room really makes the room next level. My family and I have done many escape rooms so we've had our fair share and this was a good one. The puzzles weren't insanely difficult but we're just intricate enough to keep us on our toes. The people running this game are also the sweetest people ever. They spoke about the struggle of having their rooms in their house so if you are against going in someone's house for a room, don't waste your or their time. I would recommend this room to anyone whether new or experienced in rooms. 10/10 experience!

Wow, where do I begin? This game lives up to the hype as a Best of Morty game for several years & for us, a wonderful first game of 2025! The set design was a labor of love (the whole game is, actually) with a gorgeous Victorian mansion vibe. The puzzles were all intuitive and flowed perfectly. (Keep an eye out for the sprinkled-in Poe easter eggs!). I've done actually several Edgar Allen Poe rooms, but this is my favorite, hands down. Some other random points of interest: This is a business inside a home! (Which makes sense since no rent, no additional utilities, etc) They worked very hard to keep you immersed the whole time with some unique clue-in system. It wasn't until the end when I really understood our goal that I felt this game was just beautiful. In case you can't tell, I can't recommend this place enough. This is one worth making the trek to Hickory to do. (And yes, that's me rocking the Friends of Morty t-shirt!)

We had an absolute blast playing Nevermore—hands down, my favorite room to date! Every single detail is meticulously crafted, making for an incredibly immersive experience. The set design, featuring refurbished pieces from an old Victorian house, is stunning—from the floors to the walls to the ceiling, every inch is thoughtfully designed. The storyline flows seamlessly, the puzzles are both engaging and satisfying to solve, and the room is filled with clever Poe-inspired details that enhance the atmosphere. The ambiance is nothing short of incredible. It’s clear that Nicole and Tom have poured their passion and hard work into creating something truly special and it comes across while you are playing. This is one of those rare experiences where, the moment you step out, you’ll wish you could go back and play it again for the first time.

Nocturne Adventures does it again! Aesthetically pleasing experience with puzzles and tasks in theme. You cannot go wrong with this experience!

If you are anywhere near NC, or the South in general, or even in Japan, you should come to these rooms. The entire experience was immersive, fun, and exciting. The hosts were wonderful enough to welcome us on Christmas Eve night, which helped me score major points with my teenage daughter. What a delightful and cool couple. Loved the storyline too, and the live acting is spot on and not gratuitous...definitely best room we have done, ever.

We loved everything about it. Fun, varied, and creative puzzles, great atmosphere, perfect level of challenge to keep us engaged and having fun the whole time, great plot, can’t say enough about how amazing it was. Definitely my favorite one!

We had so much fun playing Nevermore. The set design, puzzles, and the gameplay were all excellent. I loved the storyline throughout, and I especially loved the ending of this room. I can’t recommend Nocturne Adventures enough— the owners are so passionate about what they do, and every escape room they develop shows their dedication to creating immersive, unforgettable experiences. If you’re looking for an adventure that goes beyond the ordinary, Nocturne Adventures is the place to be.

Nocturne has added an incredibly well crafted game to their already fantastic brand! Nevermore is a mysterious and theatrical journey that unfolds beautifully as you progress. The puzzles were thematic and rewarding while progressing the story along, concluding in a satisfying and complete finale. You absolutely can do no wrong by playing any of the games at Nocturne Adventures!

The best room I have ever done! Whether you like Poe or not, this experience is to die for. Everything from the setting, puzzles, and experience was wonderful and second-to-none. Thank you to the people at Nocturne for the best experience I have had, and I have played over 90 escape rooms!!
