I totally look forward to coming to see the owners Bruce and Mary! Lovely couple in the haunt community 🖤 multi room haunt that flows well. Always impressed with the quality of props and actors that really set this haunted house apart from everyone and everything! Gives the big guys a run for their money!

This is a very large haunted house with a lot of themes and rooms. Some great scares, but I do think they need more live actors too. It was a good time though, definitely worth going.
Scary
There are some great scares for sure, but my pants did stay dry.
There are some really cool themes and sets to walk through

The attention to detail in the maze's decoration and props were pretty good. Every room had its own unique theme and atmosphere. I must give a shoutout to those actors for their dedication. I couldn't help but wonder how they managed to keep up their high-pitch screams for every group that passed through. It added an extra layer of intensity to the experience. One aspect that helped maintain the pacing of our visit was the presence of buffers between groups. There were some checkpoints to help pace the groups. However, despite these buffers, the group in front of us seemed to be taking their time, often revisiting some of the animatronics and scares. While I understand the desire to fully appreciate the details, it did slow down our progress through the maze and we often missed the chance to get a scare. So, if you plan on visiting "Reign of Terror," I'd recommend being considerate of the groups behind you and try to keep the flow moving smoothly. Despite this minor setback, "Reign of Terror" remains an exceptional haunted house attraction that delivers on its promise of terror and excitement. The dedication to creating a spine-tingling experience is evident in every aspect of the maze. Just remember to be mindful of the pacing to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the frightful journey :)

Unless you plan on going early, I would recommend the immediate access to skip the long line.

It’s all walking.
There was two rooms that had high intense strobe lights. And another room that will definitely make you feel dizzy. Not recommended if you easily get nauseas.
No wait
For immediate access we were the next to enter. Once we entered there was about a 5 minute line to start the main attraction
15-30 min
We finished the entirety of the maze in about 25 mins

One of the props grazed my shoulder. Other than that I only got hit with air pressure and a squirt of water.
Please listen to the briefing video carefully. Especially to the part that says, “if the group behind you catches up to you, move aside”

There’s a parking garage right in front of the attraction. Lots of parking space.

I can’t recommend ROT enough. TLDR; think of it as a GIANT Knotts Scary Farm/HHN maze! Here are some tips, full review below that! - I buy my tickets online so I can pick cheaper days to visit but they sell @ door too - the online tickets give you a timeslot but I’ve been late before and been fine. - The parking is plenty + free (bc mall) but the wait time is LONG, at least an hour unless you get there super early or get VIP tickets. I usually get in line as a group so people can peel off for the bathroom/get food, ice cream etc. Also once you get closer they have scare actors that will come up to you in the line + fun props/theming. - Once you get inside there is not a bathroom! The mall has tons of nice bathrooms outside the venue, & there will be time to go bc of the line. - For both the line/haunt itself, I do NOT recommend heels - the floor moves at times + I think you’d be pretty tired by the end of the night from standing in line. - If you miss all of October, they do a lights out version the 1st weekend of November where you walk the haunt with a glow stick + a Krampus version for Xmas - I personally enjoyed the glow stick but I’d only recommend it if you’ve already done the walkthrough bc all the beautiful details get lost in the dim light & it’s hard to tell what you’re seeing at all. I vote Krampus > Glowstick if you miss out on October but still want to go. - For free pictures, I would recommend taking pics with all the cool props/actors in the main outside area as you’re in line - they have a professional setup inside too but that one costs. - Since you’re in line a long time + once you’re in there’s no break, I recommend making a night of it - my friends & I usually go out to eat/drink beforehand or go see a movie. - Earplugs could be a good investment if you have a hard time with loud noises + a mask if you have a smoke machine sensitivity (there is a lot). - If you’re really scared, there’s a walkthrough on YouTube but it’ll show EVERYTHING so I don’t recommend it unless you want spoilers. The trailer is great though! - Lastly, help them help you - if you see the line inside the house getting clogged, either hurry through or wait & help them space it out, otherwise you’ll miss out on the scares. There are actors inside stationed to help with this but it was a really big problem year past because people were being jerks + standing around or not moving so it got super clogged and we could see what was coming. First of all, 140 rooms! In a MALL! THAT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR! That should tell you what you need to know right off the bat. Secondly, they have all kinds of animatronics + production value - I always tell people it’s like walking a scary fun house! Fourth, at 35$ a ticket, it beats out HHN + Knotts by a ton - yes you only walk through once, but I usually make a night of getting food or watching a movie beforehand, waiting in line, and then walking through for like 45 minutes (takes a long time to get through)! It’s a perfect alternative if you’re looking to save money but get the same level of production value. Fourth, there’s so many different themes & they’re adding in something new every year so there’s something for everyone! I will say that they usually reuse what they’ve done years past, so I don’t recommend watching a walk through (unless you’re really scared or don’t care about spoilers), and if you’re someone who wants something new each year I think you can probably only do this once - but I love it for that reason. They keep the same stuff which means they actually invest MONEY into the robots working + have incredible sets/props already around! I make it a point to take people with me every year - if they haven’t gone they’re in for a treat and if they have then we get to see what new twists they added! I think they have a new scare zone/theme for this one, for example! The actors are always amazing, I always get got by at least one thing even though I’ve been at least 3 times. I can’t recommend it enough for a fun night!
Scary
Something always gets me, and I’ve done this for 3+ years!
They go above and beyond with animatronics and rooms that move! It’s like a very scary fun house!

Never got them but you do get to skip the hour+ line if you upgrade I think.

If your kid can handle Knotts and HHN then they’re ready for this. But there were some kids last year that were 10 or so so and they had to leave from inside the house bc they got too scared - also the line is SUPER long so keep that in mind.

The floor moves at times - call or email ahead
There is fog + flashing lights, as well as loud noises, air blasts + dim lighting - I would email them for mobility, as the floor does move at times or get very narrow. There’s also a walk through on YouTube if you want spoilers.
The scare actors are amazing
Long wait
It’s an hour - if you get there super early you might have a chance but I usually make an experience of it. Plus if you go with people you can always have one hold your spot while you go get some mall food and then come back. Also the line has scare actors and some props to keep you occupied!

No actors touch you, but there’s hanging stuff in the doorways, fake dangling body bags, etc
This is a haunted house that tackles all kinds of fears, so please be aware of that. They have a lot of different themes that are found on their website. There’s a walkthrough on YouTube if you want spoilers. They usually feature clowns, dead bodies, bugs/roaches/spiders, blood, chainsaws, prisons, hanging bodies, insane asylums, aliens, demons, caves, rats, infected/ill people, churches, hillbillies, ghosts, and all kinds of spooks.
