The J-Rome Mine

The J-Rome mine was a fun, immersive escape room. Excellent set design and incorporated real “props” into the room. The puzzles were medium-challenging with a good number of logic puzzles in the game. I would say that for the most part the puzzles were linear. The GMs are very attentive during the game if you need help, are on the right track (or not). Just let them know how involved you want them to be. I really recommend popping in and doing this escape room if you’re looking for a fun challenge!

Ethan and Nola were fantastic—everything was explained thoroughly and they made us feel so welcome! The room was awesome, featuring interactive elements and challenging, fun puzzles. The theme was super cool and tied in perfectly with the local town, even using authentic artifacts from nearby mines. It was such a great experience that we’re heading straight into another one of their rooms back to back! 🧩✨🚀

A great escape room staff was polite and helpful to the extent that we wanted. We're two seasoned escape enthusiasts and, similar to the review here on Morty that inspired us to try out Blazin Escapes, we agree it is such an amazing room for being a small town escape room. It is centered around the classic solve puzzles to unlock boxes; find keys to unlock boxes, but the atmosphere and quality of the room was fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone who is in the area or driving through!

Lock heavy, immersive room! Authentic to the Arizona heat and sounds of a mine.

This was a surprisingly great little room! We didn’t expect much from a small town escape room, but the creators really built a gem here! Puzzles were unique and everything was on theme. Easily in my top 15 of over 200 rooms. I wouldn’t recommend more than 4 players since they are tiny spaces.

What a great creative room! The owner Ryan has made this so fun. He has created a great immersive feel for his mine room. Lots of things to find, lots of great props, atmosphere. Though not a high tech room, but loads of great puzzles that I would enjoy playing again. I do think if you were a newbie, there are certain puzzles that would be tough to solve, but asking for a hint is an option and will be gladly given by the helpful game master. I want to try more of their rooms.

We feared that an escape room company in the small town of Cottonwood would likely be little more than a bunch of trite puzzles in a scantly-decorated room. What we got was something with a moderate degree of polish and a few truly great theatrical moments! This is definitely worth a visit when you’re in the Sedona area!

My husband and I did this for our first anniversary and we loved it!!! It is so immersive. Cottonwood is further from the valley but it’s absolutely worth it!
