This was not my favorite room… click on the review to see the breakdown
Game master kept interfering as we would start a puzzle which didn’t give us a chance to solve it ourselves
Most things were 3D printed except the main attraction which you really only used for story and one puzzle

If you love arcades or just the 80s in general , you love this room. This whole experience was fun/ exciting and overall stands out over other escape rooms and I highly recommend you check this out.
The gameplay was very unique and fun, this the 1st escape room I've done that didn't involve physical locks and I really enjoyed solving these puzzles.
The atmosphere is amazing, if you're a gamer or you just love the 80s or arcades in general. You'll love this room.
Our Gm Kyle was very kind and was one of the best parts of this whole experience.

There's a few parking spots but that shouldn't be an issue at this location.

I loved the theme, and the puzzles were fun. I wanted more of certain things, and overall I wish there was a few more puzzles, but I had a delightful time.

Not the hardest of escape rooms. It was pretty easy but the atmosphere of the game is really good and completely makes up for the ease of it. Talking to the owner I am excited for the next room(s) he does

Loved the atmosphere and the room, difficulty was not very challenging for experienced players. Still a great experience. -PAC
Great gameplay. Loved the video game aspect to introduce the story and the interactive story aspects. Puzzles felt like they were related to the theme.
Set design was great.
GM was amazing, he seemed like the owner and was fantastic. Loved how the rules were explained
Story seemed cool but I felt like a lot of time was spent on it and not a lot of it was a part of the game so I wanted to hear more.
Easy
Actual puzzle difficulty was a breeze for experienced players. The flow was a little odd and felt semi linear but also out of order.

Nice theme. It was a bit easy for five of us and the AI wanted to assist quite a bit. Overall good room.

We are experienced players, but we breezed through the room in 28 minutes with no hints - 4 players. We found the overall experience lacking. Some of the decor didn’t go together and there were random trash bags (decor) thrown around the room which had no purpose. A couple of the puzzles were a bit hard and didn’t need to be.
We are experienced players and found the room tacky.

This was a really fun theme! Video games meets 80s and some fun original puzzles. It’s not a big room, but there is a lot to do. You definitely don’t need more than 3-4 people though.
Some original fun puzzles, but also some that could have been a bit better.
Very video game!
Our game master was great! We’ll call him R.O.N.I.N.

Very fun theme!

A lot of the puzzles are pretty doable, but there are a few that are challenging strictly due to vision.

It’s video games! Of course it’s high tech!

It’s all one level and pretty open spacing, but low lit.
Go in through the back, around the art mural parking lot

One of, if not, my favorite beginnings to a room and just an absolute blast of a world they crafted for the escape room. It's a tad small and a couple things could use maybe an update at a future date, but the puzzles are all fun and the story and interactions are great.

I’m so happy that such a fun and well designed room is added to the Riverside collection. Immersion began the moment we stepped into the lobby, our game master was absolutely lovely and had us giggling, the tech in this room was refreshing and included things I’d not seen before/in a long time! The hint system is integrated so well in the game (no walkie talkie or waving your arms for help, breaking the immersion). The room concept is neat one and the story flows pretty well. It is a smaller room, and not too many puzzles, so it’s a good beginner/amateur room to start, and nice to test your speed run skills for a more well-seasoned player, but neither the limited space or puzzle take away from the game. Add this one to your to-do list, and can’t wait until they come out with more.
Puzzle concepts were fresh and something I’d never seen before. Game flow got kind of confusing because there were pieces of puzzle in one room meant for the next room, but not a deal breaker by any means.
The coding and some of the props were absolutely great, blast from the past and definitely immersive from the get go, even in the lobby. It’s a smaller room but that doesn’t take away from the experience.
GM was absolutely great, keeping in character from the beginning, helpful throughout the game, and a pleasure to talk to and pick her brain afterwards.

Knowing that one of the owners did all the coding for this room just made me appreciate it all that much more.
Definitely a memorable plot and neat concept they can keep running with.

Easy to find, yes - ever so slightly sketchy because it’s in the back side of an alley… also yes. 😅
