It’s clear now that the visit to Tortuga was a mistake. Sailing under a common merchant flag, your orders were to gather supplies and return to the fleet. Port Royal would have been the smart choice, but considerably farther. On the other hand, Tortuga offered ways of purchasing the same goods for less. And with the money saved, you could spend a few days of mirth and merriment before returning to your captain, with no one the wiser. However, a group of pirates have taken advantage of your naivete. They grabbed you in the middle of the night, knocked you unconscious, and are keeping you in their storeroom until their ship is ready. Who can guess the plans of a pirate? But odds are, you’ll be thrown onto a slave ship and sent somewhere unpleasant for a lifetime of hard work with little to show for it. Unless you can escape before they return to claim you.

For some reason I feel like pirate based rooms are usually just a little bit better than others and this is no exception. The room has a great atmosphere and is pretty well designed for the pirate theme. The puzzles are pretty well done and all on theme. There were a few clever uses of tech that we weren't expecting, but no spoilers in this review. Overall this may be my favorite room at this location, perhaps besides Insane Asylum. Once again our game masters, Jonathan, Jenna, and Flavio were fantastic.

Pirate themed escape rooms are always a good setup for fun, and this one does it well. Puzzles challenging enough to keep a group busy and top notch immersive set design. Of the 4 rooms here, this is the one I'd choose to hang out and drink some grog in. Thanks also to GM (good matey) Jenna for the guidance!
Really loved this set!

Parking right in front is short term, but a block away there's street meters and a structure. Free street parking a few blocks further but might be trickier if weekends when area is busy.

My friends and I enjoyed all 3 rooms we played here! Pirates was fun, immersive, and had a variety of puzzles. They weren’t challenging but we did struggle with making the connection on one of them. Kylie killed it as our game master as well!!

The props were incorporated into the puzzle so well.
Jenna and Noelle made us feel welcome and they gave us the little nudges we needed to look at things we were doing but missing.

Enjoyed the room. Decor was simple but well done. Shout out to Jonathan, our game master who pointed us in the right direction when we were stuck. Can’t wait to try the other rooms.
